Maybe the QPR spell has scarred him for life

I know Critchley was never the most attack-minded coach but during his first spell we played some good stuff and scored a fair number or goals.

So far he actually seems to be playing it even more safe. Maybe he’s just terrified to lose now.

I hope with a few more additions it will all click into place and we become more aggressive going forward but right now the signs aren’t great.

Think it’s more just missing a couple of key personnel. Think we’ll see a target man striker and a couple of wide players come in, who will give us the opportunity to vary our approach a little more.

He needs a good number 2. He was hopeless towards the end of his first spell. This is like the continuation
The way he is setting us up the play, he is the biggest 'number 2'
I don't subscribe to the 'we should walk League One' brigade at all. But If you ignore the first 26 minutes against Burton, they were the bigger threat in the game. Same today with Orient.
They are the bottom two teams (early days etc). But we provided zero threat and no options/showing to take a pass.
Jeeps, a half arsed opposition manager will see that at corners we have CJ as anchor and will press his bag of cement control.
