MCLF: Match blog - the Mighty vs AFC Wimbledon

A cheeky bump in the unlikely event anyone wants to get cross all over again.

sorry.

We sat back and got punished for it. We seem to do this every time we go a goal up at home. Is it some attempt to look like an unbeatable possession passing team ready to cut open the unwary with one incisive pass to CJ. It works in my mind.

Good summary. Whereas the Crewe game was a point gained, thus one was self inflicted two points dropped.

By the way, when my youngest first started going, I got her to write down all the players numbers of both sides before she was allowed a snack. Kept her occupied for a good 20 minutes especially if play was at the other end. Once that was done, a case of noting goals and bookings against those numbers. Hours of match report fun.

Planning a venn diagram (or possibly a series of venn diagrams) for Tuesday

Dreaming big.

I'll probably over do it and it'll be entirely venn diagrams with venn diagrams about the venn diagrams.

We play the swapping a 50p every time the ball goes out of play, with a goal for Pool increasing the stakes game. Whoever holds the money at full time keeps it.

Then usually if I win, we end up spending my winnings on a bar of chocolate each on the way out so he wins either way.

I've not thought this through have I?

I'm going to do that first game back. Already do it at golf. Fishes and camels. Whoever puts it in water or sand adds to the pot. 18th hole has extra tension with the shot to the green.

It's great. It makes any game good, no matter how bad it is. Got it off Danny Baker in the 90s when he used to do 606 when it was brilliant listening.

It's funny, the lad has no interest unless we're actually there. Couldn't care less about the game on the telly.

Hope he wants to go again when we can.

Actually read it fully today now that I'm in the calm waters of a late Sunday afternoon. Whilst being impressed by the high quality graphics I do think your placing of the cross on the 'Likelihood of faffing about' axis should be much further over to the right.

It would have been off the chart at the beginning of the year. Would have had to get a second screen to view it.

Reading it twice is above and beyond!
