Meanwhile at Plymouth ..

They've gone downhill fast. I remember 18 months ago being in Leeds when they drew 1-1 at Elland Road in the 4th Round of the FA Cup. I saw some of their fans after the game in the city centre all smiles and remember thinking how they were on a high now but are one of those clubs who could easily fall back down.

We seem to pass each other with alarming regularity. Remember being at an away game there and talking to their lot in a pub afterwards. A few seasons later we were in the Prem and they were down to Lge2 and we couldn't be much further apart. Then the tables turned about twice since. Lets hope if they're on the downturn again it means we're back on the up!

Huddersfield away on Saturday - big game for both teams considering current form has Huddersfield 23rd and Plymouth 22nd!!

Quite remarkable really that in over 100 years they haven't managed a single season in the top division, especially for a city that size, have to be one of the biggest underachievers in English football history, lovely club though - good fans too.
I reckon Ian Holloway would have got them there if he hadn't taken the poisoned chalice that was the Leicester City job back in 2007/08

The travelling for miles every other week must be incredibly soul destroying

Or half the away games they must be seeing double vision for drinking so early to numb the travelling pain.

Probably tricky to get players to go there due to the location, most would probably prefer a club in the midlands or north as first choice, to be closer to home.

Mate is a Plymouth fan and is convinced they are in an irreversible position now - went to Huddersfield on Saturday and saw nothing to indicate otherwise.
