On the OT board the other day Herts posted "My mate Voy has gone and won’t be coming back" due to the fact the board had gone downhill and was poisonous.

It's an echo chamber of the same posters making the same posts ad infinitum. All backing each other up. I guess they feel listened to in a sad way. It's quite depressing reading how everything has gone to the dogs in this country over and over again......
 
I think the board is still ok on the football side - yes not quite as good as it was but still some decent discussions around the club and general state of the game. The OT side is a waste of space, I've had a look on there once or twice and it definitely isn't for me. I know some can't stay away from it though and at least it keeps most of the nonsense from spilling over.
 
Rarely, if ever, look on the OT board. Only visit this site for football. Like many others I've too much going on in my own life and I don't need the hassle of politics etc.
 
Overall the board is ok. I rarely bother posting on the political spats as it’s always I’m right & you’re wrong x 1,000. I’m sometimes tempted & type my views then end up deleting them because I can’t be bothered arguing with faceless people who clearly won’t be swayed from their opinions.
 
I guess the problem is that there isn't really that much to discuss at the moment, Labour are even worse than the last lot but there's not much we can do about it, other than that, Ukraine's still rumbling on, Gaza may or may not re-ignite, what else?

When the headlines are a paperwork SNAFU from Reeves and another meaningless meeting between Xi and Trump, it's just boring.

yep it is, so shut the fuck up then because you can't see it that you're as bad as anyone. Yet you can't see that can you? You want to take the piss out of people then expect to get it back. That simple really.
