Hope Demi is back to give us more options, also he scores goals so takes a bit of pressure of Yates and Lavery
 
I can see Anderson returning for Jules and Stewart coming in for Dougall.Other than that it will be same as.

This should have the dual effect of protecting the back four and serving the front 2.

Mitchell judging by the Critchley overtones could be bench and same for Madine.

I think Anderson was a big miss v Huddersfield and would perhaps have given us more control.

Jules whilst promising doesent offer enough at the moment and not when points are at a premium.
 
According to Neil Warnock, it’s not going to be an easy game for them. He said he sent Ronnie Jepson to bloomers on Tuesday and according to his report we were the better team and should have won. He said we should have been at least 2 goals up before they got near our goal. Different perspective from a lot of our fans.

Agree with this.

I'd like to see some of the 'moaners' on here with team selection and strategy ... rather than post game.

I'm not going to guess the team, but if things are not going to plan I can see Madine on at 60 and Lave playing alongside

As it happens I think we'll win.
 
I'd like to see Stewart and Anderson back in and Garbutt rested for Husband.

Happy to go with the manager on the other combinations at the back and up top, I'm sure they've been scouting the opposition and will be looking to match up/exploit certain areas.

Would take a good performance and an away point to steady the ship after Tuesday, I can see it being a tight affair, 1-1 Yates.
 
1-1 for me 4-3-1-2 for me (if madine starts as a 1 behind the front two ,for the flick ons ),sorry I'm shite at trying to work out formations ,I'll leave that to the main men .(if I were the main man ,sterling big Marv husband ?or keoug garbutt , mid bowler dougall Anderson ,madine ,front two Lavery ,Yates ! Like I said I'm shite at this😞.

Best performance was Coventry vs Reading with 8 yellows.

I am not insinuating I want rid of NC, that’s not the case. What I am saying is that like anyone else he does some things right and some things wrong. But some posters on here seem to think we should worship at his feet and any kind of criticism or disagreement with some of his selections or tactics is tantamount to insurrection. We are allowed to voice our opinions and they aren’t necessarily the same opinions as him, that is the purpose of a football discussion board.😁

I quite like the fact that you’ve thrown young Sonny Carey in there, that’s pretty much how I would start !
 
I would have left Jerry in rather than TJJ, neither of them are tearing up any trees in the scoring department but I think he is always more of a threat

but sorry to be doom n gloom , the injuries pool are getting at moment , is wrecking our small squad , plus we are seriously lacking quality in midfield , my opinion thou , it was for me the issue on Tuesday plus fitness

I think he prefers one who’s a bit better in the air. Lavery can be replaced by Yates later in the game after he has ran his socks off & hopefully scored.
 
Have any of our good spells been with Yates and Lavery together? They started up top for Milwall but then we Jerry played LM after the red.

Can’t remember it ever really clicking between the two of them.

See what happens, we’ve got great options off the bench I just hope Critch uses them if/when he needs to as he’s been guilty of dithering in the past.

Having watched Carey twice this season, I think he will give us more of an attacking option through the middle which we were sadly missing on Tuesday night.
