Migrant boat capsizes.

It’s bad enough crossing the busiest shipping lane in the world during the day but why anyone would get on a rubber dinghy in freezing conditions in the middle of the night is just plain ludicrous.

Sorry It’s not in desperation it’s just plain stupidity in paying thousands of pounds for your own death.

RIP to those that have died it must have been terrible in that freezing water in the middle of the night you wouldn’t have lasted more than 5 minutes in those conditions probably even less with going in to shock as the body hits the water.

What a needless tragic waste of life.

Unfortunately it's a chance they take.
Some bastard is taking all their money and couldn't give a s**t what happens to them when they're at sea.
Why have the French authorities not had their own Coast Guard patrolling the French coastal areas?
 
This regular loss of life is the main reason boats from northern France must be stopped from crossing to England. Traffickers are making fortunes from the deaths of innocent people and this could be stopped overnight by the French authorities employing drones, greater numbers of officers and intelligence to prevent sales of the boats in France.
