Wondering whats going on with this lad? He looked good at the start of the season, pace and he scored early on. I thought with CJ being out his pace would have been an asset.

He's not been given a chance. Managers take against players, sometimes for no reason, and when they do there's nothing anyone can do about it, except hope to try again elsewhere.

He was in the starting 11 for the Burton game that didn’t take place.l so it can’t be that the manager doesn’t like him. I think he is decent, pace to burn.

Would like to see Ward given a chance on the right. I know hes been playing centre mid before stewart arrived but I think he did really well and unlucky to lose his place. I heard that he started off as a right winger though so would be really good to see him back on the pitch alongside dougal and stewart.

I think he got a bad rep by being played out of position. Was chuffed to see him picked for the Burton game, he is quick, is a grafter, and would love to see him playing as a true winger.

Like a few others he's only been given limited opportunities and doesn't appear to be a starter, more of a squad player with potential to improve.

Doesn't mean that he's shit, there is an issue or he needs to be sold.

He worries me in defence but is exciting on the wing further forward. Suspect NC just needs to accept the change of role and use him positively

The only aject failure of the players signed by Critch excluding loans is Sarkic. A few of the others may yet make the grade, and we need squad players as well as first teamers, but hopefully some squad places will be filled from Youth team

Agree would like to see him get more of a chance, and if we don’t give him minutes now how is he going to get a chance later when we get CJ, Madine and Anderson back 🤔

Another good young player who will only get better with the coaching on offer here.
He brought some added energy into the proceedings when he came on and looked fully focused.
He's versatile enough to be able to play in a few positions...just a case of finding which is his best.

His pace gave us a different dynamic, he did well in a similar way to Yates where he seemed to get fouled but stayed on his feet - did a great pass to Embleton which lead to two chances were we unfortunately didn't score either.

I rate him in one situation only. Where he played yesterday. He's an instinctive player, he's no full back, he's not an inverted winger but potentially, on the left, doing the role he did yesterday, he could be very decent.

Impressed with him yesterday. Good to see.

I'm of the same opinion that he's much better as a winger than full back but Gabriel wasn't much better when he arrived and look how good he's becoming with good coaching and experience.
