Most overrated band ever...

Of course the answer is that it's all subjective.

Some that have been mentioned:

Oasis - not massively for me, but will listen to them from time to time. A lot of their album tracks are plodders but they knew how to write a hit and rode the wave of lad rock and the mood of the country at the time. Artists releasing at the same time who sold a tenth of what Oasis did, like Tricky for example, I find far more interesting.

I can't bear listening to Queen. Really not my thing, but can appreciate there's some major talent there.

The Beatles debate will rage on forever.

U2 - not for me, but Achtung Baby changed the face of modern rock, in some respects, might have been the first 'stadium rock' leaning album?

One I absolutely won't have is Bob Dylan, whoever mentioned that. The lad released one of the year's best albums last year and he's pushing 80!!!!

Anyone who doesn’t like queen needs to be separated from normal members of society!

Oasis. Mate of mine tried to get me to change my views and got us tickets to see them in 2002. Turned up at the venue only to be told that it was cancelled, found out that Liam got a serious slapping in a top hotel in Munich by an Italian who knocked a few of his teeth out.

They started well but by the early 70s they'd jumped the shark and have done nothing for nigh on 50 years while continuing to coin it in.
They haven't played together for years its not there fault people still play their music and they are coining it In.
