My frankly slightly odd take on Larry leaving.

I think it's probably for the best, but I dunno, I don't feel as delighted as others. Not really cos I wanted him to stay indefinitely or even especially oppose him going now but I think he actually did a lot for us as a player and a manager once upon a time and I'm a whimsical romantic who wanted it to work out

Sadler obviously had a punt on him based on something similar. Reality has bitten and I hope the next man can unite us and show the enthusiasm and energy that seemed to be lacking from Larry MK2

I think, despite the reservations, most fans did. Earlier in the season, I had already asked would he be able to manage in the Championship because he's struggled in the past - just presumed he'd be the man to take us up.

He never attacked this role with energy and enthusiasm. He never looked interviewers in the eye, avoided eye contact, never accepted criticism because he was never confident in his own skin to take it and embrace it....always the players and never once did he say he got it wrong. I feel sorry for him that his managerial career has ended in disaster after disaster.

He was a husk of the manager that did well getting teams promoted. Not sure if age or just too king being in management, but he looked a tired and flat man, with awful body language. His players obviously picked up on that - his DNA in the team.

He was bitter and dour for the most part. Maybe past experiences have taken their toll on him. He had all the cards in his favour and still fecked it up. I have zero sympathy and believe the decision should have been made a few weeks ago.
