NC on Leeds victory

He's certainly got his mojo back. Really pleased for him. A big couple of tests coming up now. If we get a good points haul from them it will really give the manager and players some belief and confidence. Bring on Peterborough!

Yes it is good. I'd hate to put that on you.

I believe we got back to 433 tonight.
We did and it didn’t help Yates. If that’s the way Critch wants to play long term then it’s not going to successfully accommodate Yates I think. Maybe Bez if tonight’s version tips up a bit more regular.

We don't seem to have someone who can play that central role. Unless Lubala can shock us all again. He's proving to be another example of what some people were saying early doors. People need time to settle in and adjust and find their feet.

What we should now be able to do is actually adjust in games. I don't really care what formation we play, I do care if we don't adjust it when it's not working. As we've now played in a few different ways, different formations, vary degrees of directness, he should be more confident in changing it up during games which is really what was driving me mad about him. (i.e. that he seemed wedded to something, even when it was palpably not working)

I enjoyed that interview and am very glad to see the sparkle back in his eyes as he's a very engaging fella when he's confident.

I've always said about Critchley that he's a bit like that teacher at school who will never be a favourite of the pupils but one whose lessons you don't mind going to. Clearly someone who analysis every detail of a game and I think as well as the players learning over the last few months, he has learnt a lot as well and put that in to practise.

Until it turns around or if it doesn't. It's the 64 million dollar question and we all have different opinions.

Spot on, he certainly seems to have got his mojo back. It will be interesting to see how we get on against better opposition 🤞

Nicknames that make someones name longer always make me laugh. Sims - Simsie.

I think I've been reading in too much into his over-analysis after wins. After all the bad results and we started winning finally I found it bizarre, but now I reckon it's just his way. He seems the bloke in a job interview when asked "what are your weaknesses" he'd reply "well, I'd say I'm too much of a perfectionist".
