Cost us big time. Sat back and invited pressure on us, diabolical tactics.
Totally agree unfortunately the subs today lost us 2 points and it could easily have been all 3. Hope fully the manager will learn from it.Yep. Can’t disagree at all with that. Too many changes that ultimately left players in odd positions, defending too deep and no shape.
Well the biggest concern I have is that he took Simms off on Tuesday at a similar point and we conceded late and he’s done the same thing again today...Totally agree unfortunately the subs today lost us 2 points and it could easily have been all 3. Hope fully the manager will learn from it.
I can’t agree that Mitchell was one of our best players.Does anyone else think that he doesn't rate Mitchell at all? Keeps playing Kaikai even though he's been terrible, then when the lad finally gets a start and is one of our best players on the pitch he subs him and put Virtue on the right when he is gash there.
He was better than Virtue who gave the ball away constantly and provided a real threat for us. His pace and him driving at them gave them something to worry about. I dont think it's any coincidence that we went so flat upfront after he was taken off.I can’t agree that Mitchell was one of our best players.
I thought he put in a decent performance doing the job he was asked to do. Actually put in a couple of decent tackles.Kai Kai was a liability today
Yeah. He was fine and provided natural balance on the left. I just don’t think he was one of our better players on the day. A solid 6/7 out of 10 for me. Plenty of others would be marked the same. It was a good game with Wimbledon deserving their point over 90 mins. But as per my comments above, we should have closed the game out and our tactical substitutions worked against us doing that.He was better than Virtue who gave the ball away constantly and provided a real threat for us. He did, and a brilliant cross after the equaliser but no one got a toe on it. It was the tactics today, pure and simple. Way. too defensive and uninspiring.I thought he put in a decent performance doing the job he was asked to do. Actually put in a couple of decent tackles.
Kaikai has scored 3 winning goals for us so far this season, that is 9 points because of him. He has 3 goals, and 3 assists thus far so please explain how Mitchell did anything today which has been a bigger contribution than any of that? He wasn't even involved in our 1 goal.I've been crying out for Mitchell to get a start. Today was his chance and he took it well in my opinion but as the game went on you just knew that Critch would hook him. Mitchell did more today than Kaikai has done for most of this season. Time for journeyman Kaikai to pack his bags imo.
Bang average.Play offs are out of reach if we continue to draw with average teams. we haven't lost ground on possible sixth place today with the way results went but anything more than that is a pipe dream. need to win the next three. maybe even that's a pipe dream. can't work out whether we are bang average or the system is the problem.
Especially when it wasnt a bad performance and people are lashing out in the heat of the moment.Kaikai has scored 3 winning goals for us so far this season, that is 9 points because of him. He has 3 goals, and 3 assists thus far so please explain how Mitchell did anything today which has been a bigger contribution than any of that? He wasn't even involved in our 1 goal.
We need to stop scapegoating players after a bad performance.
Really!I can’t agree that Mitchell was one of our best players.
Really?!?!Really!

helps if we play more than one up there for the full 90 minsI genuinely believe that we are garbage up front. No saying that our forwards are rubbish players - far from it- I just believe we are a poor attacking team creatively and that is why we invite so much pressure.
He is either a game winner or a liability. Seems to be no inbetween!Kai Kai was a liability today
The problem lies in midfield imo. The strikers will score if the get the service. Yates has scored two great goals recently that he's had to make himself. He can't be expected to do that every match.I genuinely believe that we are garbage up front. That wasn't the point you made though, you said Mitchell contributed more today than Kaikai has all season which isn't true.In answer to your question, how many games has Mitchell started this season, I think that you'll find that it's less than three. I think that Kaikai has started at least 20 and been found to have been missing in at least 12 of them.
Once Simms went off we had no out ball, yet the keeper was still kicking long, as he did before their goal, it came straight back, into the box, goal. The problem lies in midfield imo. The strikers will score if the get the service. Yates has scored two great goals recently that he's had to make himself. He can't be expected to do that every match.
The Football League paper made Thorniley man of the match!Turton was average at best, Thornily is not what’s needed at the back, although he’s done ok recently and Husband isn’t really a CB. Garbutt came on and couldn’t get into the game and maxwells distribution let him down for once. We’re at sixes and sevens at the back but have still managed to go on a good run. The full backs for me on Tuesday need to be Gabriel and Garbutt and he needs to stick with Yates and Simms for longer provided Madine is still not ready.
Opinions Hodder, IMO he’s not good enough, gets caught under the ball at least once a game. And he’s slow. The Football League paper made Thorniley man of the match!
