Negligent of Sadler to bin Larry ..

Other people may not have spoken to us about taking the job with Larry still in post, out of respect and being the decent thing and all. It was the right call in my opinion, he also knew he had a temp replacement he could call upon.

Football is a results business. The results under Grayson weren’t good enough. Harsh reality of football I’m afraid

Interesting, it seems now Evatt hasn't got the job people are now turning on the chairman for sacking SG, the very manager you were all calling to be sacked. You can’t make it u.
i wouldn’t blame SS if he just put us up for sale and sailed off into the sunset. Has nobody any patience anymore.

Grayson effectively sacked himself
Blaming players but not understanding his tactics and strange selections were at fault.
At no time did he show passion and his negativity rubbed off on the players
There were a few entertaining moments but too often we followed that with trying to protect a lead or draw and encouraging the opposition to have a go, which they did to great effect

An odd time to sack him when he'd just brought 12 players in.
Summat doesn't add up.
Agree with D_K_L and I get the impression even if we'd beaten Gillingham that he'd have lost his job (Chisnall on Radio Lancs last week seemed to indicate he was a goner on Tuesday night).
As for the rest, you track the manager you want, you ask their availability and then you take appropriate action. Larry would have known he was dead meat and if I'd been in charge, sod honour, make sure you get your man so you're not left with a choice arguably worse than what you had!

I'm with you here Scara but not the last line.

Obviously Sadler can do whatever he wants but I'd like to think he was better than throwing his toys out because of a few restless natives.

No point in investing in football if you are planning on bailing whenever some folk don't agree with you.

Interesting to hear supporters on the talk sport phone in last night after the Utd game, many calling in turning on Frank Lampard, who would of thought that.
it just shows you how fickle football fans are these days. It wouldn’t take long for the pool faithful to Have turned on Evo had he been considered And gone on a poor run.

Long gone are the days when after a manager was sacked , adverts for the position were placed in all the national papers inviting applicants to apply for the job in writing ! And they were given a few weeks to do so . Then followed interviews, talk about long winded , but all clubs did it .
