Neil Critchley Charlton Reaction "It was a professional away performance."

Another balanced view from the Critchmeister. Excellent interview.
He rarely bullshits us not like Bowers interview as he must think because no one is there no one was watching.
He just spewed a load of crap and was very ungracious.

Online definition :

a twinkle in someone's eye

If a plan or project is only a twinkle in or a gleam in someone's eye, it is only at the stage of being considered as a possibility. Projects that a few years back were just a twinkle in the planners' eyes are now bricks and cement. Words such as gleam, glint and twinkle can be used to describe the way people's eyes shine or reflect the light. They often suggest hidden energy, emotion, or humour and refer to the excitement of having a particular idea before putting it into practice.

He is obviously loving it. Earlier in the season I had doubts about the recruitment and that he was maybe being too clever for his own good at League One level, but now I get it and I think he has a big future. Hopefully with us.

l liked his honesty about certain decisions not going Charlton's way today balanced with some of the decisions that have gone against us so far this season, and we’ve had some real shockers.

If we win he`s great, when we don`t questions are asked. We`re all buoyed up just now, naturally.Let`s hope we`re really on the way to better things. We`ll know better come May.

He thinks deeply about games
.. and strangely I think that was his problem at the start. He was over-thinking games. For me, he used to do the classic thing of 'look at the opposition, before you look at your own team'.
Feels less like that these days but sometimes managers learn by their mistakes and others use winning runs to go back to what they think they should be doing. Hopefully Critch is the former.
