Just want to voice my thanks for his contribution to our club and the way he goes about his business.

He never makes excuses when we lose and has a quiet dignity when we turn in magnificent performances like we did last night. Not everyone agrees with his team formation and tactics but then again which coach does get it right all the time.

I am proud to have him as our Head Coach and hope he continues along this incredible journey with us for a very long time.

Up the Mighty Pool.

An inspired left field appointment by the board, it shows that they have a long term plan and Critch is crucial to that, one of the brightest coaching talents in the country.

Hear hear! To think some clubs have to put up with a Steve Evans or Neil Warnock type... all hail Critch!

He's an absolute genius and Godsend! I think we have to be realistic though and accept that some day a big wolf is going to come hunting for him (and he deserves a tilt at the big time - hopefully here with us), and who knows, maybe an England post is not out of the question?

It would not surprise me if Critch is an England manager at some point in his career.

And he wasn’t hiding his disappointment either after the team performance away at Hull, he was as mad as fcuk with the team that night in his post match interview. An absolute legend already 👏👏

Neil Critchley's contract finishes the end of next season.

It's brilliant that we've signed players up early on longer contracts but the best bit

of business the club could do is to tie Neil up on a very long term contract.

It would show massive ambition and where we are heading as a club, here's hoping 🤞

To think that some wanted a Warnock type.

And to think others still don't rate him, and put it all down to Calderwood

Wiz

I don't know what Warnock has got to do with the price of fish but now that you have mentioned him I think it's fair to say that he has done very well in his career as a football manager.

I certainly agree regarding putting things down to Calderwood, I am certainly not dismissing Calderwood's contribution but how on earth could supporters value that contribution.

All this painting Critchley as the next Pep after a win - albeit a great win - is as equally as tedious as though who criticise him after a narrow defeat.

The football debate on here is not very good, it's all black and white and never any grey.

Well suppose to help your debate we could compare Critch to
Grey man Westley

Fair enough Tangy.

I just feel that we have a very fickle football forum, even for football which must be the most fickle game in the world.

Also - Apologies to Wiz for directing my response at him, I was talking about the general fickleness of the forum, to be fair Wiz is more tangerine tinted than fickle and that doesn't make him a bad man.

Interesting that on the Cardiff forum they were advocating for Critch to be McCarthy's replacement (following his inevitable dismissal).

It won't be long before bigger and more attractive clubs come calling.

More attractive?

I'm struggling. Barcelona are in the doldrums. Sweden women's team?

Funny that Mod.

I love Mick McCarthy and was putting Cardiff up at 28's for the title after they murdered us first game of the season.

I didn't expect them to win it but I'd be lying if I didn't say I fully expected them to be bang there.

We must be a fair few points ahead of them ourselves now.

NC has earned his stripes thus far developing young players, giving them belief and fine tuning their natural abilities. His signings do not include seasoned egos. Doesn’t strike me as a big six manager... he’s our Eddie Howe. He and SS are on the same page... might be wrong of course but I think he’ll be here long term 🤞

Calderwood last season. McCall this. When is McCall going to get the credit for turning things around this season? 2 points from 5 games before he arrived!
Have you ever heard of a musician called Norman Smith? He had a big hit in the early 70s as Hurricane Smith: "Oh Babe, what would you say".
Well, as Norman Smith he engineered the first three years of absolutely massive Beatles hits. But the name that's remembered is George Martin, the producer - the boss. And the point of this?
Remember the assistant coaches for the benefits they bring but it only works because there's a man in charge, a boss, who enables it to happen. Critch is that man. He's our George Martin.

Different accent.

No one EVER gives Mike Garrity any love. He's got the loudest voice so without him, no one could hear the instructions.

You are so right. He's been hiding in plain sight. The bastard! 🤣
He does important stuff like.

Popping to macro
Running the team bath
Ringing Gaz to get him out of bed
Making sure Critch has the big coat packed for if it's chilly

No credit at all. It's all 'Colin this' and 'Stuart that'

Even Banksy gets more love and he just wellies a ball at keepers all week like a fella with 3 dogs to look after.

Are you going to start a Garrity Twitter campaign?

Are you on a sponsored 'fickle' mention?

He’s starting to get noticed by fans of other clubs, so he can’t be going under the radar of the boardrooms of some other clubs either. If he carries on turning BFC into a total football machine at this rate he’ll be replacing Pep at the end of the season 🤣

Or Solskjaer before Christmas!

As soon as the club gets Owen out of the Penthouse they should give it to Critch on a long term lease! 😂

Critchleys a total numpty. If you ask me we should have never got rid of grayson, it's gone from bad to worse since then! If it were up to me, we'd have "edit:Sam allerdyce" back in. Now there's a real first team coach.
