I don't know Neil personally, but I know a number of posters do. This was posted by a friend of his on his behalf to the other site.

Hi everyone, its Neil Vacchiano. I don’t have an account for avftt, so i have asked a friend to submit this post for me. Thanks for all the kind words you have sent, they mean the world to me, and thanks Ashley for starting this off.
I am now out of hospital after nearly 3 weeks, of which i was in intensive care for 8 days. I have got a clot in my lung which will take about 4 months to get rid of. I am now learning to walk again and managing around 30ft before I’m out of breath. It going to take a while for me to get fully fit, but I’m strong enough and ugly enough to manage it. Again thanks for all your support and lets hope we can meet up at Bloomfield rd and in the Thatched for a pint sometime soon, and for the marton gang the saddle and the no 10.
UTMP
Thanks
Neil

Great News Neil,
Here’s wishing you a speedy recovery.
All the best to you and your family who have obviously been through an awful ordeal.
There’s a pint waiting on the bar in the Thatched for you whenever things get back to normal.

That’s brilliant to hear fella👍. Don’t know you but have kept a keen eye on the thread Bus started for you, more than most due to a family member going through this terrible virus, sadly lost his battle, to be fair he was a Leeds fan😁( he would have loved that bit of banter)🧡

Excellent News Best Wishes to Neil on his recovery.
For those doubting the seriousness off this illness it shows if you are lucky enough to get through it can still be a very long road back.
