first thought, & this won't go down well, is the text in tangerine is a bit hard to read? could we have a dark tangerine or black?
 
I quite like the orange. Think the whole thing will take some getting used to but it certainly feels more modern and is great on my mobile phone whereas the other forum was practically indecipherable!
 
Like it just going to get some getting used to but you don't want to leave the old site open too long or it will just split debate.
 
Don't know if you've looked at your profile but you can now block people .. who do we think will be the most blocked AVFTT'er (plenty to choose from 😄)
 
Wow - very different but like the way it looks. Seems much cleaner and quicker though than the old site. How do you get a picture in your circle?
 
It's going to be a wrench, the old site was creaking but it has been much loved over the years. Lots of features on this one though so I'm all for progress. Goodbye old friend, hello new bestist mate!!
 
Cheers .. am uploaded! Got to say having just gone across to the old site, this one is so much better in terms of functionality etc!
 
Finding this confusing , Where do I find the complete list of threads wth the last one commented on at top as on old site . too many buttons taking me to places i don't want to go . old layout much easier to navigate

It's a soft launch. Tried it out with some users the last couple of weeks and now a general invite to everyone whilst keeping the old board up whilst we hopefully get fans used to this board. We want to get this 100% right before we turn the old board off.
 
Turn off signatures. They are crap and no one needs to know the same info thousands of times.
 
Where do you do a Signature 😄 Been watching all afternoon and just registered because I think the old forum is about to fall off the cliff as Boro are losing!!

Click on your account name at the top of the page, there's a signature option up there.
 
Thought the other place would have tumbleweed blowing through it by now .. maybe their IBM Thinkpad's aren't compatible 😖
 
How do you ignore someone and if you do start ignoring them, do you lose the entire thread they are part of?
 
How do I change everyone's comments I read to black text? Most comments are in orange text and it's doing my eyes in.

A couple of people have asked about the colour of text - when we were testing the board, the tangerine went down quite well but it is obviously something we can change if needs be?
 
Quite like the tangerine. Am using this on my mobile and it just seems so much easier to use. The amount of times that I was throwing my phone across the room whilst trying to zoom in on threads to click on them, only to get an advert!!
