New Kit Design

Swindon have released their Puma kit for next season, wouldn’t be surprised if this is the template we’ve gone with...

i think it will be something like that.White across the shoulders.

Was flicking through a few new puma releases the other night. Monterrey caught my eye,I like the collar.

I quite like it to be honest, it’s looking very modern. I have a feeling ours will be a little plainer, although I’d be happy with something similar.

The colour of the training kits is making me think we’ll have a dark blue third kit again, like the anniversary one. I certainly wouldn’t complain about that

My experience with replica tops is that manufacturers have dropped sizes substantially as it means kids then need adult shirts which are more expensive.
My Rangers tops by Puma were piss poor quality, over priced and two sizes down.
Dont build your hopes up lads

Dont buy Rangers tops then 😁

Plenty of concerns raised on here re kit sizing. Given that people have different requirements ie some like a snug fit, whilst others like a loose-fitting top or want it to go over a hoody or similar on a chilly matchday, it might be an idea if the club quoted the actual ‘pit-to-pit’ shirt measurements, rather than the rather meaningless size guide now in place.

That way people could check the actual size against an existing garment & get the size they want, thus saving frustration for punters & preventing shop staff having to deal with loads of returns/exchanges.

Just a thought.....

Anyone agree with Roy's point? Personally I think tangerine training gear would be a bit garish?

Because other than a kit, and even then, they can look horrendous, tangerine is a terrible colour to do anything with. I wear it to support the club, but it’s not the easiest to get looking ‘good’. Hence why no one really buys / designs in it for mass markets.

Do those on the bench wear this training kit during a match? If so, it stops them being confused with players while they run up and down on our new artificial grass edgings.

I've heard similar about Man City kits.

I'm not bothered, I'm over 18 and won't be buying one. I do however have a child that will get one. Errea had their issues but at least the kits were of decent quality

Can we assume the fact the training kit has embroidered badges, then the home/away kits should also?

Hard to say. The embroidered training kit is basically the club buying plain stock puma merchandise and having the logo embroidered on, just like they have with previous stock in the club shop - it's clearly done by some local supplier.
If the shirts are custom made, then it depends who puts the logo and sponsor on. Personally, I'd rather have a printed on badge - if it's done to a decent standard with modern technology. The club crest is so complicated, when embroidered it becomes very big, thick and bulky, and affects the fit and feel of the garment, especially on thinner fabrics.

I mentioned on a different thread that we should have a flash of tangerine on the range of training gear. I do prefer the blue to black however.

Is there not a flash of tangerine at least? That much is surely the minimum! I've not seen the training stuff... you got a link to share?

Depends who you class as kids these days. My 13 year old is only half a foot behind me these days - most kids shoot up at 12 and so I'd imagine most would need adult shirts anyway.

Really, I wasn't even smoking ciggies at twelve.
