I'm getting pop ups when I click on a thread, when I try and click the X to vet rid of them it doesn't work so I need to go back and then onto the thread again. Really annoying.

You lot don’t half moan - just leave them at the bottom of the screen - they don’t interfere with anything, you don’t have to get rid of them to see the site - they just sit at the bottom of the screen. At least you don’t have to wait 10 seconds with an ad running before returning to the site like a lot are now.

I look at AVFTT on an iMac, IPad, iPhone and MacBook and I can see the ads but they don’t annoy me. Adblock just means more ads for everyone else or a subscription based site. Look around other fans forums and they are no different.

Yes pain in the arse. Forever trying to find the x to get rid. They put it tantalisingly out of reach so have to swipe up to turn off and start again.

Btw, this is not the small ads at the bottom, it’s the full size ads where the close button top right ‘X’ isn’t active. So you have to refresh the page to get back to where you want.

Glad you mentioned this as I was going to too.

Although a few have worked recently its annoying to have the pop up in th first place but even more annoying when you can’t get rid of it and have to refresh and click again.
