A quarter of hospital deaths with COVID were diabetics. I'd be curious to know what proportion of the population is diabetic. Anyone know?
 
Type 1 or type 2??

It has already been linked to obesity, so its the old " cause or effect?" Obese people are much more likely to be Type 2 diabetic

MRC says 6.2 % diabetic, of which a 10% Type 1,

That’s a hell of a percentage due to just one condition 🥴 maybe more is needed to educate on the causes of the disease, and the consequences generally, rather than just managing it with drugs when it’s already taken hold.
