It has already been linked to obesity, so its the old " cause or effect?" Obese people are much more likely to be Type 2 diabetic

MRC says 6.2 % diabetic, of which a 10% Type 1,

Good point. Also like to have various other issues too, heart disease etc

That’s a hell of a percentage due to just one condition maybe more is needed to educate on the causes of the disease, and the consequences generally, rather than just managing it with drugs when it’s already taken hold.

They think because diabetics will have a reduced immune system even in good times.
