It will be the Revoe plans........anyone else seen them? Friend told me he had seen them on a news feed that he had been sent
Can you get hold of them Mosser?.......anyone else seen them? Friend told me he had seen them on a news feed that he had been sent
Think you could be right mateIt will be the Revoe plans.
This is NOT the training ground plan nor is it from the club.
It does say that the football ground phase will be the first...As I see it, it'll be quite a few years until this Revoe plan is actioned. There are quite a few hurdles to jump before it takes off. The first project within the plan is the creation of a "square" in front of Revoe library. The football ground phase is way down the list.
This. ^Had it confirmed the training ground is completely separate to any development or not around the ground. It’s budgeted for between £10 and £12 million and a location is still yet to be finalised.
There still playing golf on it.What is holding up ip the choice of location?
Wait a while and get Poolfoot at a knock down price. Cheaper and quicker- what's not to like.Had it confirmed the training ground is completely separate to any development or not around the ground. It’s budgeted for between £10 and £12 million and a location is still yet to be finalised.
and other stuff as well. There still playing golf on it.
Not good enough. We’re spending almost twice as much as we want twice the facility ! Also want to be in Blackpool or at least close to Blackpool and have a Cat 1 Academy facility which Poolfoot is not.Wait a while and get Poolfoot at a knock down price. Cheaper and quicker- what's not to like.
They've got to knock the Windmill down. A few Lytham residents not happy. What is holding up ip the choice of location?
I know, but the preferred site could be years away and it will be subject to a public enquiry with absolutely no certainty of getting the nec permissions. Not good enough. Hope your are right. The club are working with the council to identify the site and progress has been made so hopefully it won’t be too far away ! Plus if the council want club money as a lynchpin of their Revoe aspirations then they need to scratch the clubs back somewhat !
Given the developments in and around the Fylde and plans for literally thousands of homes, new roads etc I’m fairly confident a PE will be somewhat of a formality. The council get Squires Gate for more housing, the club creates a community use sports facility and whether green belt land is required or not the nature of the development means there’s no intensive building, plenty of green space kept and no real risk from flooding.Hope your are right.
The location is nailed on. It needs extra space, hence the council, hence the PE, now whether that goes beyond BBC is possibly a potential hazard. Time will tell.
It will be in Blackpool. Not some out of town location. Believe there are a few sites, none should be revealed until it’s sorted and in public domain.Hope your are right.

We’re very lucky to have Simon Sadler, the town is lucky to have him....... exciting times aheadIt will be in Blackpool. Not some out of town location. Believe there are a few sites, none should be revealed until it’s sorted and in public domain.
BFC have been liaising with the Council on these plans since Autumn 2019.
Hope we get the details soon. The East stand project looks pretty impressive. We’re very lucky to have SS.
The council document also states that the plans do not include the stadium development as it is a private matter for the club. That image is only an artists representation of what the stadium might look like.It does say that the football ground phase will be the first...

Would say its ten/twenty years off, those plans. Has there been an update on the central station masterplan, the developers are neck high in debt.
It's the plans for Revoe which includes pitches for the community around the back of the Kop. It's not the training ground........anyone else seen them? Friend told me he had seen them on a news feed that he had been sent
To be fair, Central station closed in 1964. They've been given enough time already.Would say its ten/twenty years off, those plans. Has there been an update on the central station masterplan, the developers are neck high in debt.
The Revoe money is coming from a number of grant applications the Council has been successful with. Not their money. The club are working with the council to identify the site and progress has been made so hopefully it won’t be too far away ! Can I volunteer to be the one who presses the plunger?Yes I heard this. Will also mean the end of the Lytham prom apparently.
Here you go to most depressing poster on here.Would say its ten/twenty years off, those plans. Has there been an update on the central station masterplan, the developers are neck high in debt.
True. But a huge swathe of that plan between Bloomfield Road and where a new school would be built would rely on the club to develop the land. My understanding is the club currently has no immediate plans to do so and certainly don’t have plans for an indoor conference centre / performance space ! A lot of these plans involving the club are based on conversations had between the council and Oyston a number of years ago.The Revoe money is coming from a number of grant applications the Council has been successful with. Maybe the council haven't realised the Oystons have left. Don't think it got much coverageTrue. It would make zero sense to spend money building a conference centre now given the new one constructed at the Winter Gardens.
The football pitches may happen sooner rather than later though as that’s a plan which the community trust have been spearheading for 10 years or so and that was instigated by the late club chaplain. It’s a key part of the community trusts plan going forward.
Prior to Simon Sadler buying BFC, we were very lucky for Mr. Belokon's involvement. Without him, we would never have had a new South Stand, no Charlie Adam, and no season in the Premier League. We’re very lucky to have Simon Sadler, the town is lucky to have him....... exciting times ahead
Thought BHS had closed downWhat's the space age thing on BHS?
Not at all. In the minutes the club made it clear there is £10-12 million earmarked for the development and that they’re working to find the location. Also that’s on top of continuing to develop Squires Gate AND the Stanley Park OvalSo are we reading in to what the club have said that any plans have been well and truly shelved? Have always said it's results on the pitch that are more important to the majority and if we've improved Squires Gate then I'd say that's job half done for now.
