New What we all watching / recommendations thread?

For those who like something not too heavy the third series of Leverage Redemption has started and the first 5 episodes released .
Think criminals doing good ala Robin Hood. Very enjoyable.

This Friday Criminal Minds starts. The FBI Behavourial Unit are back. This rebirth is on S3 after the first version was cancelled about 5yrs back after 15yrs.
Excellent show. If you are ever short of something big to binge and have never seen this you'll be hooked.

A heads-up for a new series of Alfie Moore’s ‘It's A Fair Cop’, starting at 6.30 on Monday, Radio 4.

The ex-Humberside Police sergeant turned stand-up intersperses real life tales with great anecdotes (hopefully featuring his favourite canine copper, Zeus the police dog).

I stumbled across Open House, the great sex experiment on Ch4 last night...... Car crash TV, what is wrong with these people that want to go on TV and do this? It was cringeworthy yet fascinating at the same time. It was horrible!

Another vote here for Mobland, it's excellent.

I've just started watching the Lincoln Lawyer on Netflix, enjoyed the first couple of episodes so far.

With her “Oirish” accent. Almost as funny as Pierce Brosnan’s, bearing in mind he is actually Irish.

I’ve enjoyed it for all that. With what’s his face doing what he always does. Last episode on Sunday I think.
Last of the season, apparently it's going to have a season 2, it's been very popular.

Good finale for Mobland, all set up for season 2.

If there were awards for OTT over acting then Mirren and Brosnan would win had down. It worked though because both their characters are bat shit crazy!!

Clarkson'r farm continues to be a really good watch.

Watched the first three episodes of 9 Perfect Strangers Series 2 on Prime last night.

A continuation of weird, engaging, gripping brilliant stuff.

Oh and the first 6 of Clarkson's Farm series 3. Just some of the best TV you could ever watch.

Another vote for Department Q on Netflix.
Thought it was very good and the story (and ending) actually make sense.
yep, just binge watched it. Excellent. Was it a remake of the one set in Scandinavia. Watched something a few years back where someone was imprisoned in a compression xhamber.

Ballerina, the John Wick spin-off is starting this week at cinemas.

Not to be confused with the Korean revenge film from 2023 with the same title. (Worth a watch.)

Spot on regarding Southland, such a riveting watch. On Call is enjoyable and sadly series 2 was cancelled by Prime….hopefully another network will continue this series.
I didn't know that about On Call. Disappointed, although the american series cull has been ruthless this year. Blue Bloods 2/3 of the FBI series, Bosch, Equaliser to name but a few.

Just started watching this tonight (only on Episode 2) and already hooked
I like the Syrian character, he's obviously much cleverer than his current role. Probably learn more of his background as the series progresses
Enjoying it.

Two that I have or are enjoying currently enjoying Marie Antoinette, amazing how things were in her day and we talk about the swinging sixties!

Code of Silence now finished but well worth watching.

I'm probably a bit behind and I'm not going back 47 pages so this has probably had a mention (this thread is longer than the Transfer Window) but just about finished This City is Ours aka Merseyside Sopranos.
PS.
I'm sure I saw Ricardo at Manchester Airport..
