You’re not vanilla !Sorry, I tried to respond, Karen but it wouldn’t let me, the forum seems to play up a lot nowadays. At first I thought people must have me on ignore but then realistically realised, “nah, I’m far too vanilla (on here!) for that..
I hope you enjoy it..script is great, it’s very funny and the lead character is so likeable despite his shortcomings…

Told a friend about his who’s into punk music. She’s really enjoying it …Done 3 episodes out of 6 of The Riot Women, BBC.
My god Sally Wainwright is some superb writer.
I thought it might be a bit cheesy based on the plot line, but it’s just excellent observational northern drama again, but as funny as it is sad and deep at times.
I’ve cried one minute and literally laughed out loud 2 minutes later.
Amazing cast and acting.
Fantastic.
Started it last night - very good - always liked Tom Hollander. The Iris Affair on Sky is very good!
It is. Annoying thing is the trailer for the next sea..series which won't be out for another year.Slow Horses latest series is ace.
Another acting masterclass from Gary Oldman.
There is no better or astute writer of middle aged women out there, she nails it every time, it’s another great series from her and the acting is brilliant, men do get pretty short thrift though.Done 3 episodes out of 6 of The Riot Women, BBC.

Hated it - thought the whole concept was flawed and a bit toe curling.Just finished watching Hack, ITV, the true story about the demise of the News of the World and the backhanders that were prevalent then, and no doubt now. Well worth looking it up, particularly if you're a Guardian reader.
I only lasted 25 mins to be honest, bored me to sleep.Hated it - thought the whole concept was flawed and a bit toe curling.
First episode was brilliant but the second such a disappointment. I'll stick with it though being Vince Gilligan.First couple of episodes of Pluribus show promise. Same writer as Breaking Bad but sci fi.
