3-4-3

Listening to the pre-match Seasiders podcast, the guest Dale fan said their recent improvement began when they switched to three Centre Backs. The fans had been saying - "we've got three good CBs, why not use them", and eventually the manager did.

It's time we gave it a go.

Holmes to come on as a sub for Simms with 20 minutes to go if the big boy's getting a bit puffed.

I know it won't happen, but it was fun imagining it.

I believe in playing your best 11players so I would play 5-3-2 or 3-5-2. Maxwell Expeteta Ballard Greaterson / Thorniley Gabriel Ward Dougall Robson Garbutt Simms Yates

Christmas tree formation.

No idea what it ever meant but it sounds ace.

We're at home against a side out of form - let's just bloody go for it - get to 71 points and see how results go below us - tbh if Oxford lose I'd say that's pretty much it.

Just think gives us more attacking/game changer options on the bench with Embleton and Simms, Holmes, Garbutt, Gabriel

Only one player out from the the team that started last night , which was Garbutt for Mitchell with last nights team, not a lot would of played that formation last night or Saturday, but suited us for the opposition.

It will depend largely on Kaikai and Ward's fitness as I'm sure both would start. Ideally I'd like to see Simms start alongside Yates. Embleton was awful against Rochdale and Shrewsbury so less fussed about him getting a start.

I voted 4-3-3 because of his love in with Embleton as he simply can't see he cant run and constantly gives the ball away.
