NFL Clique 2025

I £@$%^&) hate Mondays when Blackpool and the 49ers have both lost; it feels like both the football season and the American football seasons are over before they’ve begun.

And as for LB Fred Warner’s injury…it’s heartbreaking for a man and player that is the heartbeat of the team.

Enjoy the game, Herts; it’s got to be better than the grim showing yesterday!

Justin Fields had me more furious than watching Lee Evans Fanny around banging the ball into the crowd and blaming Lyons.

WTF was that performance? Half time looming and they let the clock run out. Then with Broncos getting mauled by the D he manages not even 50 yards passing and just keeps expecting Hall to run into a wall with some sort of miracle!

What a shit show. Glenn is clueless on offence and Fields is expected to just scramble to glory.

I'm wondering which sport I can choose a shit team for next?

It was one of the worst NFL games I've ever seen. It was a 3 and out contest, half the time without them even gaining from the scrimmage line. A complete shit show.

And Glenn looks out of his depth. That running the clock down business was just bizarre. Did you see Garret Wilson in his face asking him WTF he was doing?

Great showcase for NFL too 😂

I don't really understand the game but I watched the first hour or so yesterday afternoon.

Glad others are saying it was dire, that was what I thought. Pretty poor for the broadcasters.

Possibly the worst game of NFL I've ever seen. So if you survived 60 mins then you've got a chance of actually enjoying the game in time.

Was it really that bad ? I couldn't understand why both sides persisted with stuff that didn't work.

Here's what my US friend sent last night:

"Wow helluva barn burner you got to see over there, glad we always send our best teams like the browns, jets & jags 😂"

It was like watching a Russell Martin team play a Russell Martin team in some strange simulation. Absolutely dour crap.

The Pat McAfee Show opened tonight with a massive apology to everyone in the UK on behalf of Americans.

It was quite simply appalling from start to finish.

Not a good advert for the NFL spreading the word overseas.

US media killing the Jets and saying they should never have been given a game. Problem is the big teams won't agree to giving up a home game. The shit teams do.

Edit to say that the Falcons are absolutely smashing the Bills. What a crazy season.

Tampa, Indiana, Seahawks and the Patriots seems to be the 4 best teams so far. Would love the Colts to do well after being thought of as fodder when Danny Dimes went there.

I’m in shock. The Pats are doing well…….
That statement should be enough to put the ‘mockers’ on it.
They're starting to rumble again....

Maye looks a real talent after a strong first season. Henderson might come good at RB, they just need a little more in WR (Diggs is improving as veteran) and next season they'll be tough to beat.

And a good coach. (Prays for a similarity in tangerine.)

Not long back from the 49ers win at the NYFGs…..amazing day. Niners in front on the coach were German and the ones in front were from Italy.

We must have had half of the stadium.

I took your advice, Chunky; the coach worked superbly.

Brilliant bud!!

Good game to go to too. Niners fans normally pretty vocal so I imagine the atmosphere was great?
Did you get time to mill around the car parks and see the Tailgating?

The tailgate bbqs were incredible, Chunky; we got there at 1020 and most of them were in full swing, including one with a log-burner.

I could do without the hip-hop music - being of a certain age - but the atmosphere was incredible with Giants and 49ers mixing everywhere.

Without Scatterboo, they were not too challenging for us, even without many of our starters. I was in the 200-club suites and though it was an expensive day, to me it was worth every single penny.

That’s a 4-1 winning record for us now and I will be looking to do one next season after this magnificent 5 days in NYC.

Argggghhhhh.....

Jets just secured first pick in the draft.

Traded away Sauce Gardner and Q Williams ffs

After a long day babysitting my granddaughter, I arrived home just in time for kick off. I've followed the NFL since 1987 and always think every year it will be the Lions' year. Of course, it never is. This is the first Thanksgiving day game I've ever managed to see and it's a good game so far. Hoping the Lions can come back and win. Three points in it now.

It's a good game this one. Could go either way

Unfortunately for me, whichever way it would have gone only served to cement my team's place at the foot of the NFC North.
Blackpool FC and the Minnesota Vikings, eh?
What have I done to deserve you both?

Enjoyed the Cowboys beating Kansas City.

Still believe the Ravens are looking good from the AFC.
Hope they don't face the cheese heads in the SB
Vikings??

Hold my beer sir, Mac and I are both Jets. That's a whole new level of clusterf*ck, think yourself truly privileged!

I know you are, but I've little sympathy for your current position (no offence, both).

At least you've won the big one whereas I'll never experience watching my team contest the SB.

Every off-season the Vikes have hope, but are always found wanting.
This year seems a retrograde step even though we've got a top rookie qb who missed his first campaign through injury and is proving himself a possible "bust".

So many similarities with BFC, none more so than both my team's are sh**e.
At Seattle tonight which makes for a thoroughly depressing weekend.....again.

They'll go and get Kyler Murray in the summer and it'll be more pain

Don't......
I'm hurting enough
With those receivers, they could do far worse than getting Uncle Joe Flacco in. He looked good for the Bengals just peppered Chase and Higgins constantly. You've got 3 maybe 4 quality WRs and Hock at TE. Just need calm in the pocket.

One of the worst sporting weekends in living memory
Left before full time on Saturday, believing we're facing a mammoth struggle to win smother game, never mind stay up.

Last night first shut out in 18 years.
Defense kept us in it, but out of playoffs already

Neither of my teams put up much resistance after falling behind; both appear to be going backwards whilst rivals flourish (that last bit sounds almost paulcoish)

Looking forward to this weekend. I'm recording the highlights and will try to avoid the scores.

Looking forward most to Bears v Rams. Expecting a shootout in that one.

From the perspective of a perennial underachiever (Blackpool, Vikings and personally!) I'm hoping that no team wins the SB for the first time.
This means I'd rather a NFC franchise won it (except the bears, naturellement) before the Bills (whose SB record is as woeful as ours) or Texans.
Going for:-
Rams
Bills
Pats and, shock of the round,
49ers
Rams v Bills SB
Rams to win
