NFL. Green Bay v Bucs

The Bucs do look more than a match for them tonight, they've obviously beaten them once already this year, but there is always that chance that Rodgers will do what he always does to get the win.

F*ck the Packers. Bear Down.

Seahawks out so my season over, hoping anyone but Brady but looking as if he could do the impossible this season

Great game. Well done the Buccs. Glad for their long suffering fans.

Never mind taking the 3 point kick on 4th down, I felt like AR could have run in the touch down on 3rd down. A very strange couple of minutes.

Buccs were the dominant team and deserve their victory.

The hype for Superbowl is going to be off the charts now with Brady and the Buccs home field (potential first time ever done). I really look forward to all the Superbowl once a year NFL experts to crawl out of the woodwork..........🙄

Great game. I wore my Blackpool Shirt when I watched the Buccs play the Detroit Lions back in the 1980s in Tampa. The fans I met were all friendly and many asked about my shirt. What got me was at the time the Buccs were a poor team but the fans really got behind them. Pleased for their long suffering fans. Looking forward to the Superbowl now

Less of the long suffering Bucs fans. They won the Superbowl in 2003.

Try being a Chargers fan. 😤

Or follower of the Lions or Jets😭😭😭😭😭

I don't understand Watson's thinking about wanting to sign for the Jets, other than he wants to play in a big market.
Everything else suggests they'll kill his career.
They have a new head coach and some high draft picks...... still it is the Jets and they have been badly run/ unlucky for many years.

Just been looking at USA channels and Green Bay fans saying the officials cost them the game by favouring the Buccs particularly not giving holding penalties. Also saying the officials always favour Brady. They seem very bitter but I think the decision to go for a field goal on 4th and goal cost them big time.

I thought that on 3rd down, it completely opened up for rodgers and I thought at very worse he would have got stopped on the 1 or 2 yard line.

Its almost like he had 50 quid on the buccs.

Rinse and repeat for them, they always have high-ish draft picks and a new HC every couple of years.

Yes. I like the poor old Jets. Always have. But they will no doubt take Watson and take the Lance or Wilson as their first pick causing a big old conflict.

They finished the season well and Saleh is a great appointment. Hopeful for the Jets next season - but you are correct they will probably manage to make a total hash of it "upstairs".

Why didn't GB go for a TD on 4th down?

Great game.

I'd like to stay up for the next one, but it's unlikely.

That baffled me too. Should be an interesting summer at Green Bay, I'm not sure Rogers is going to want to stay at a club that seems lacking in a clear sense of direction. Which sounds harsh, because the coach is certainly talented - but near misses won't be enough for Aaron. He's played second fiddle to Brady throughout his career, he won't want to just accept more of the same.

Honestly that post match press conference was just pathetic from Rodgers.

Needlessly looking for pity, cry me a river Aaron they aren't going to cut you, he’s being needlessly passive aggressivethey’ve basically built a franchise around you, I mean he forgets they moved Farvre on to accommodate him. He drive me crazy at times a big dose of reality need for Mr Rodgers me thinks.

He’ll be back next year, the Packers arn’t cutting him like I say, Lefleur had to clear up his bossy for with his own post match presser. Just shows the knock I’ve always had on Rodgers, talented but has limited leadership.

There’s my yearly Aaron Rodgers rant done.

I know its not directly related but the 49ers have just increased their stake in Dirty, and own over a third of the club now. Looks like at some point there will be a takeover but really there seems to be moves from the US on our football.
There's quite a few already here and Wrexham have been sold to those two actors, and I guess at some point there'll be a mention of more NFL games being played over here.

Also the glazers couldn’t do a double title year could they?

Kronke’s involvement in Arsenal

Khan’s plans with Fulham.

I’ve also noticed the media’s coverage of the PL becoming intensely ‘Americanised’. The latest iteration of this, Sky’s documentary on Liverpool’s title winning season, it’s basically a carbon copy of the NFL’s America’s Game documentary series which comes out every year.

Yup I think that's how its going- have a Bud and a bag of Doritos sat at home watching it home.

Mind you @Bloodtangerine has been doing that for years along with the other Manure fans 😁
