My problem with Thorniley is his lack of inches for a modern day centre back!

From reading the Mansfield forum after we signed Hamilton, they said he was an out and out winger.
The fact that he kept being moved around the pitch meant he was never really able to kick on and progress.

Hamilton, Yates, Anderson, Sarkic & Kaikai is actually a startling amount of attacking talent which if used correctly could tear up League One.

Think the gaffer will decide who is best where...I think they will be interchangeable and the key factor is pace...we have lacked it for way to long and the fact that issue has been identified and addressed shows we are going in the right direction...its a world away from life under the scum family

I think our main system it'll be 1 central striker (Yates) with a 2 of Sarkic, Anderson, Hamilton, KaiKai etc playing wide of him, and a no,10 just behind.......

Considering Critchley’s come from Liverpool I’d assume that his formation/setup will naturally be very similar. 4-3-3, lacking the central midfielders for that massively at the moment, obviously a lot of business needs to be done.
