EUFA should move the tie away from Turkey....but they won’t...red list or not.

Anyone going there should think twice....but some will.

Move it to say Dublin.
 
Get the final moved to the Milstad or Hampden and fill it with City and Chelsea fans. Having a final thousands of miles away with only 8K of their gimp fans plus 67K of Turks makes no sense in the current state of the world. Does UEFA have any common sense though?
 
The problem for UEFA is that they are already committed to Turkey. There are so many facets that make it difficult to change.

Bring it to these shores, but have it somewhere as equidistant as possible between London and Manchester.

It worked very well for many years with the FA Cup semifinals, until the FA moved them to Wembley, which then IMO has devalued the whole point of that stadiums purpose as a venue.

Or as has been said, maybe hold it in Cardiff.

Making nearly 10,000 people travel to Turkey, which will have come out of lockdown just before the final is bizarre. Let it go there next year when they can have a full stadium.

It’s ruined the magic of the cup final hasn’t it. And there are very many grounds that can accommodate large semi final crowds. All about money. They just don’t get it.

Don't disagree with you mate, just pointing out that that arrangements will have been made years in advance for this- hotels will have been taken over for the weekend, flights chartered, venues for hosp. hired, catering etc etc. UEFA won't want to foot that bill and re-arrange all of that for Birmingham (if allowed).

Money talks.
