We were so poor tonight......They were just as bad, kicking the shit out of Pool players......but they could only score 1 goal.
Oh well......bit of a shit night, but we will still finish above them......

We were extremely poor - but it was a 0-0 game other than Archer who was by far the best player on the pitch. The sort of loanee we should be bringing in.

I think Critchley was already looking towards next season . Several players who featured tonight won’t feature next season imho . UTMP

There's nothing positive to take from tonight. 2 poor sides, they slightly deserved it. We offered absolutely nothing at all.

Both teams were shit, lot of richotes, the ball spending too long in the air(mainly from us! 
), and we spent far too much time waiting for the ball to arrive, whilst having our backs to goal. Poor passing, slow, obvious build up play and countless back passes. You can over analyse or over think stuff, but although we had a bit more possession we never really looked like scoring! 
. I'm sure some will moan that they were dirty(3 bookings to nil? 
) the ref was biased, or Archer left his foot in on Grimshaw etc, but the bottom line is(imo) they were marginally better on the night...hit the crossbar twice and a class finish from Archer.
On another note...I hope to God Grimshaw is OK!
. Watched the game at my lad's house, after he made tea for me and my ex. She's a senior nurse at Vic and was a bit concerned he was down for so long before they put him on a stretcher!

One side of me says we narrowly lost to an established Championship side & are currently top of the promoted sides & safe from relegation. Other side says we were very poor tonight & why play that system against an average side. Injuries aside we should have had 2 strikers & done the high press, Anderson is not at the races yet, so why play him in a game with more than just a win at stake. The fact that I’m very disappointed is testament to what an excellent season we’ve had. Now’s the time to say to the players ** go for it & try a few new things. Still pissed of about tonight though.

Blackpool we’re piss poor no doubt, but the nobbers are a terrible team. Gutted we didn’t turn up as we would of battered them on our game. Fully expect them to get beat on Saturday.

Not here to comment on your team - here to comment on mine - but from what I can see most have been pretty fair about the game / result, given emotions running high after a derby etc.
However - if all you have to be pleased about this season is beating little Blackpool (having lost the away game by more) and staying in the league - perhaps PNE aren’t the big club you all claim they are.
After all … even we’ve been to the PL. who hasn’t at this point?!
