Mocking attendances despite having similar themselves in league 1, as previously proven.
Comparing this seasons Southend game vs the last special occasion one...
Yes we have an amazing new owner but sadly the football has been dire a lot of the season and then the recent run of 10 games without a win, people have become disillusioned with the manager etc.
Now for me you still attend but its human nature and happens at all clubs that when things aren't going well, crowds drop.
I'm all for saying it wasn't the best attendance in the world but these guys have no shame. No mention of recent form even being a factor...
Saturday 29th March 2014 they played Crawley and had 8979 in attendance.
No idea the exact run they were on but looking at home games they had won 2 of 4 and drew the other 2.
We have just been on a 10 game winless run losing most of them and also have been looking clueless at the time of how to play.
They have the audacity to mock when not too far away themselves on a much better run of form.
They go on about boycotting yet there was never going to be 15k again it was a celebration day. They make out like we are the only club to have fairweather/ gloryhunter type fans.
Yet let's look at their game against man city this season. 22,025 (5,637 Manchester City fans) 16,388 home fans.
The very next game on a sat at 3, whilst flying high in the championship, against Bristol city 12,005 (735 Bristol City fans). 11,270 home fans.
Over 5k home fans gone missing, police still searching Lancaster canal for traces of half and half scarves. At the time they're playing well. An example of their special occasion day.

Now of course similar would happen for us too but that's the point.
There really is no fair mindedness amongst some of that lot. Very hypocritical.
