Nobbers vs U18s tomorrow (Tues)

Ref blows Foul throw by them and their keeper shouts out "oh my days there's no way you've jumped on that what about the one down here". The liner shouts back "dont get me involved in that one mate"🤣🤣
Still 1 0.. Pool better team

Second half display was excellent from us and in the end a fairly comfortable win.
Zack Knight was the best player on the pitch I thought.
The big lad at the back for us Nwankwo had a very good game. Once late on their winger was chasing a ball over the top and he turned and put the afterburners on and was strong enough to shield it out for a GK, good power and pace.
Jack Richardson looked lively and Ky Leilandal continues to impress me.
Some really good passages of play from us, we look really comfortable with the ball at our feet at the back.
Knobbers wise thought their no 6, Snowball was their best player.
They had some right giants in amongst their ranks but did t really trouble us from setpieces.
Ref had a decent game, x2 yellows for them reflection on how niggly they got after going behind. A lot of moans from them during the game, their no 10 was quite petulant, standing 3yds from a freekick moaning to the ref etc.

Rain kept off, strolled back home with a big smile on my face.

Well.played lads.

Have they altered the way they play since Evatts arrival, as I know things like to be mirrored eventually, taking aspects of the pressing maybe? Although I get he's only been here 5 minutes...

Why , if the club refuse to put out a team in the central league , which in my opinion is disgraceful, why should they be entered in the cup ???
The club has "chosen" not to put a team in the Central League. Not sure why you think we "refused". We dont currently have enough players for a Central League team nor do we have a fixed venue to play at.

First of all I agree with @Mcewans Mullet and @Local lad.
I don't think the U18s have changed their style of play. It's more like the 1st team have changed their style to match the u18s (insert emoji).
Oluchi Nwankwo is really growing and maturing as a footballer and the incident described by my apprentice (@Mcewans Mullet) was a great example of that. Blinks rightly signaled him out for praise in his post match. Whislt the Nobbers dominated play, probably until Jordan Thompson went off (30 mins) after that Pool were in the driving seat and I can only recall Harvey Bardsley make one, very good, save. No goals today for James Butterworth but he worked his socks off alongside Shay Mannix. I dont think there was a weak link. The Nobbers put on a free shuttle bus from the town centre especially for their fans who wanted to learn about how football should be played.
Blinks has promised them that next time we play their under 21s we'll play our u16s to make it more even.

So we still beat them despite them using the U21's...

As for style I'm sure things will filter through if needed, to have a coherent setup, but maybe they were already doing things in a better way.

Ideally you want similar principles and style so any step up to the first team is as seamless as possible.

Only caught the second half but much the better side. Not sure why the ref singled out their foul throw among all the others but funny nonetheless. Obviously got a soft spot for us, maybe we can tap him up for Saturday's game.

Foul throws really irk me. Every game there's dozens
It seems to be a thing liners have forgotten to look at.
Ky Leliendal has a really unique way of throwing that had the knobber stood next to me grinding his teeth second half.
Talking of knobbers, my neighbours in a good mood🤣
