First of all I agree with
@Mcewans Mullet and
@Local lad.
I don't think the U18s have changed their style of play. It's more like the 1st team have changed their style to match the u18s (insert emoji).
Oluchi Nwankwo is really growing and maturing as a footballer and the incident described by my apprentice (
@Mcewans Mullet) was a great example of that. Blinks rightly signaled him out for praise in his post match. Whislt the Nobbers dominated play, probably until Jordan Thompson went off (30 mins) after that Pool were in the driving seat and I can only recall Harvey Bardsley make one, very good, save. No goals today for James Butterworth but he worked his socks off alongside Shay Mannix. I dont think there was a weak link. The Nobbers put on a free shuttle bus from the town centre especially for their fans who wanted to learn about how football should be played.
Blinks has promised them that next time we play their under 21s we'll play our u16s to make it more even.
