The Dad.Wasn't one of the original cast born in Blackpool?
So am I.Did some research Kelsey Grammer (Fraiser) is now actually older in real life then his Dad was at anytime in the show
Haha im just wondering seem as his older then what John Mahoney was would there be a twist and he potentially be the old crank and Freddie his son live with himSo am I.
Thats depressing!Did some research Kelsey Grammer (Fraiser) is now actually older in real life then his Dad was at anytime in the show
I hated Bebe in it and i quite fancied RozYes! superb series and carried all the warmth of the characters from Cheers into a new setting, oddly my favourite characters were always his ex-wife Lilith Sternin and Frasierās agent Bebe Glazer but could never warm to his radio show Producer Roz Doyle.
They always said the real star was Martinās old chair and the best lines in the show were from Martin about Eddie the dog
Martin : We call him Eddie Spaghetti.
Daphne : Oh, he likes pasta?
Martin : No, he has worms.
If its even half a good as the original it will still be brilliant!
I believe its set for a subscription channel Paramount + but hopefully Channel 4 will pick it up again as thatās its āhomeā for me.
Lilith the witch...yes, she was good. Cheers started with the arrival of Channel 4 - Newly married and a new baby my old Friday night outs had stopped - Ch4 and its Friday Schedule saved my sanity and with Auf Weidersehen Pet first showing it was actually worth staying in (well thatās what I told myself!) - actually they were happy daysLilith the witch...yes, she was good. Indeed. Friday was pub night for me but always made sure I was home in time for Cheers.Cheers started with the arrival of Channel 4 - Newly married and a new baby my old Friday night outs had stopped - Ch4 and its Friday Schedule saved my sanity and with Auf Weidersehen Pet first showing it was actually worth staying in (well thatās what I told myself!) - actually they were happy days
Two different eddies RIPFrasier is one of the best sitcoms ever made, it was just high farce and was brilliant.
Not sure about a revival though, John Mahoney has gone (along with Eddie presumably) and it did tail off towards the end anyway.
Well it was clever wordplay and situation rather than slapstick so gentle enough to bring in new characters (probably based on old ones) for it still to work nicely. Maybe a new Martin in the shape of a younger brother as the Cranes Uncle - Christ its got to be better than half the stuff on screen, BBC and ITV donāt really try to do comedy any more - celebrity versions of gameshows maybe, but no new Likely Lads or Rising Damp! Ch4 being the exception these days āBackā is simply brilliant!Frasier is one of the best sitcoms ever made, it was just high farce and was brilliant.

I suppose, as long as they dont bring Daphne's Mancunian with a cockney accent brothers back.Well it was clever wordplay and situation rather than slapstick so gentle enough to bring in new characters (probably based on old ones) for it still to work nicely. Simon! Well at least they got that bit right - but puzzling why Daphne was such a Manc?I suppose, as long as they dont bring Daphne's Mancunian with a cockney accent brothers back.
A Manc with a weird Sheffield/Carlisle/Burnley accent.Simon! Well at least they got that bit right - but puzzling why Daphne was such a Manc?
