Yup and many others will have lived to a ripe old age and died taking their shame with them. I've some sympathy with Steele and others who were taken in, because the perpetrators were cunning,devious and planned their way in a scheming and malicious fashion-in much the same way Jimmy Savile got away with it.
It'd be hoped that as a society we've learned from this but the recent abuse cases in Rotherham and Huddersfield suggest otherwise.
