O/T plumber needed

Are there any reliable plumbers on here or recommendations please.
My cistern is making a loud noise when flushing? Any ideas of what this could be that I can do myself would also help. Thanks in advance

I had that and they just replaced the ballcock thing inside. Took ten minutes

Maybe try cutting back on the Vindaloo?

Seriously though, I had a plumber in in September when the kitchen cold tap exploded, can't remember his name but he was based on Warbreck Drive and his number is 07836 612410. Did a good job at a fair price

Yes

Not the flush, it's the fill. Possibly just need the valves twiddling with.

@Tangerinetan does it sound like a fog horn when flushing? If so, I had the same problem before I got the bathroom done on my old loo. Anyway it ended up being the ballcock valve or flapper. I got replacement valve from b&q for £1.50 and replaced it myself using a YouTube video.

Just something to consider before paying a plumber.
