Hoping it’s many years away but as you can see from my username Mr Brightside has been my anthem for years and so probably that.

Went to a funeral recently and their song was Bat out of Hell - certainly woke a few up (Catholic funeral and very long!!)
 
Summut funny. Going Underground by the Jam or So Long, Farewell from Sound of Music.

Funerals are sad enough. Need a bit of a giggle even at the worst of times
 
Going into the weekend now thinking about my choice of funeral song, and I'm not even 30 yet haha 🤭

Probably at this moment in time, I'd have
Disturbed version of sound of silence
And also
Disturbed - down with sickness to hurt everyone's ears 😁

It’s short and sweet; the lyrics are perfect for the tune, and it will send everyone out with some noise their ears! If you haven’t heard it check it out. Not just for funerals!!!

My closest friend who was suffering from mesothelioma asked me just a couple of weeks before he died if I would choose a couple of tunes at his cremation, he wanted everything in place before he died and so I chose The way old friends do - ABBA and I can see clearly now - Jimmy Cliff.
For me The Final Countdown.

Seems like yesterday I was wearing electric blue oxford bags and a penny round !!!
