Before wife, kids and responsibilities, I had a Ford Escort XR3i Cabriolet .. probably a bit rubbish these days but was my utter pride and joy.
Still remains the saddest day of my life when it went!!
 
My 2nd car was an F-reg Ford Escort 1.4, in black. Beautiful car.

Paid £800 for it in 1996 when I was 19. Loved that car. It’s life ended in 2001 at around 148,000 miles so i definitely got my monies worth.

I've had BM's Mercs Saab's loads tbh but my favourite out of the lot was a burgundy Vauxhall cavalier SRi in the late 80's early 90's.
Worse thing I ever did was trade it in on a 3 series BMW
 
I had an XR3i as well, bright red. Not cabriolet though. Got trashed after some stupid old 'lady' pulled out on me, still sad about that 😥

Astra GTE Mk2, my first fast car.
First lengthy trip was on the A59 to Skipton. Moved out to overtake an HGV, planted the right foot and scared myself shitless 😲
 
Nissan Almera 1800cc Hatchback. Fantastic motor. Wish I still had it.
However now it would have about 250,000 on the clock.
 
Alfa 156 twin spark 2.0 litre in black with spoiler and red leather interior! Beautiful car - head gasket went cost me 3k to repair and the car was only worth 4k at the time. Sold it as company car came along. Sad times
 
I loved the E -Type but with the kids growing up and feeling rather restricted at the back it was sold and a new Capri 2.0 litre was purchased as a replacement, well we have all made mistakes at some time in our lives re automobiles.
 
In my 52 years of driving I have owned almost all well known cars except a rolls. My favourite of all time was a 1968 Ford Corsair 2000e auto. Brand new electric blue with black vinyl roof. Beautiful, looked like a dream and went like a bomb. I was devastated in 1972 when it was stolen. I never saw it again. Would have loved another but by then they were out of production and I didn’t want 2nd hand. Sorry got to drown my sorrows now.😭
 
My second car I bought was a 1983 Opel Kadett 1.6 SR, Jesus, that thing went like shit off a wet shovel and I loved it!

Currently have a mk 7.5 Golf GTi performance, great fun 👍
