Watching a feed of the opening night on you tube, some guy with a live feed.
Pretty good tbf

Saw a bit of footage and was pleasantly surprised. Looking forward to next Saturday!

I saw them live loads of times back in the day. Even saw them at the Winter Gardens
So I had no desire to see them now having seen them in their prime.
But I've watched some of last night's concert online and they sounded really good.
Then again it's no surprise as they always were a good live band.

Seen a few vids on Twitter of scraps in the crowd and dicks throwing beer about, why would you spend a fortune on tickets then have a fight? Just enjoy the concert FFS

He never did. Read plenty of reviews saying there wasn't enough audience interaction, obviously from people who have never been to an oasis gig.
Yeah I know that, but you’d have thought first gig together for ages he’d interact more with his audience? Guess not

Jeez, what have i done! Seen a few clips of last and looks brilliant. Got selected to apply for tickets last week and got 4 tickets for Heaton Park on the 16th. Had my doubts about going so gave them to my lad and 3 of his mates.

So in hindsight definitely looking back in anger now.
I saw them at Eaton Park in 2009 with Kasabian, Reverend and the Makers and Twisted Wheel.
We didn't know at the time they were going to split up soon after.
It was the gig when the sound system broke down.
It was a good concert and all the support bands were great. But if it's any consolation to
you, Heaton Park isn't the greatest venue for a concert. That was the last time I saw them and
probably my least favourite gig of theirs, due to the venue.

It's all over you tube, made me sentimental listening to it, I know I'm getting on a bit, but all the phones out! Just enjoy the moment with your pals ffs! 90s what an era to be young!

My youngest had an iPad and computer on the go, my eldest had his laptop going and I had my phone and laptop whirring away when tickets first went on sale.
The annoying thing is the youngest had tickets in his basket, as did my eldest and I.
Everyone of us got thrown out of the system before we could pay😡
It's hard watching anything to do with this tour☹️

Haven’t been swept along on the wave of the hype myself, BUT, the bits I’ve seen from last night look excellent.
Don’t make ‘em like that anymore. Rock and roll stars as they should be.
As you were.

Liam looks after himself mentally and physically these days and it shows.
Sounds better than what he did 20 years ago.

Seen them 5 times including 2 Heaton Park gigs in 2009 and their last show before the break up at V Festival later the same year.

Never once enjoyed them. Combination of the band, the sound system and the crowd that's made me not enjoy them. Full of Liam wannabies and everyone off their tits. Fights galore and problems galore.

That said I saw the Stone Roses at Heaton Park in 2012 and didn't enjoy that either. Not keen on Heaton as a venue at all

Do you think it might be you that’s the problem?

Something just to consider.

You did the right thing 20s, stick to your Simon & Garfunkel is easier listening.

I’m just watching the gig from Friday in Cardiff and looks class, going Heaton park next Saturday can’t wait!

Went to coop arena last year for Liam doing definitely maybe tour and was best gig I’ve ever been to as that is my favourite album and he played the lot from it

I love their music but there’s no way I would go and see them in massive venues, just a bit shit in my opinion, not just for them but for any band.

I had priority booking for Wet Legs new tour last week, got 2 tickets for the Nottingham gig at Rock City in November. It sold out along with the rest of the dates that morning.
