It is unlikely that there will be a GE before Jan 2025 although many in this country would like to see a change in government before that date and the chances of the present lot to turning things around by then with so many issues that need to be resolved an unlikely event.
Naturally people would think that Labour would be in with a possible majority similar to the present government but I do wonder if the LibDems might actually do very well, with them looking to rejoin the EU and the real possibility of a mass exodus from conservative voters not qiuite ready to embrace Labour but equally dissatisfied with their own party.
Of course getting through the next two years will be something, the NHS already under extreme pressure, N Ireland situation to be resolved, homelessness in the UK with thousands in temporary accomodation such as b and b's, rising food and energy costs, the cost of buying a home rocketing, independence for Scotland and more can be added to the list.
You have to ask who in their right mind would want to be PM.
The next couple of years in UK politics should be interesting, there will be twists and turns month by month i would imagine and by Jjan 25 the Libdems might just spring a surprise.l
