Off-topic forum??

I quite like the mix to be honest. Am old enough to remember the Blackpool forum's from 10 years ago when they did separate forums and no one used to go on the non-BFC one. It's easy enough to click on the BFC related messages and not click on the rest. It also gets a bit boring when we don't play for a while as there is only so much to talk about.
 
I think an off topic forum would be a good idea, it would probably be busier than the football only one knowing us lot on here!!

I think it may need to happen once this forum is up to speed and everyone is using it as posts could get lost quite quickly. We could have a few sub folders for specific off topics such as one for Film, TV, Music and books which are always popular off topic subjects, one for Politics as they do become a pain in the harris and one for restaurant, takeaway, holiday destinations etc., and a general one.
 
My Nan would be intrrested in a knitting section, as shes been banned by the mods on her regular forum for continually knot using the correct threads
 
If we had off-topic forums then the mods would have to have power (and the time) to move the threads to the right forum, because people are going to post O/T on the main forum out of habit.

It might be best to stick up just one O/T forum at first and see how it goes.
 
Kurt, you don't seriously think that posters on here will stick to posting on another site for O/T topics, do you?
No chance, they'd have to be moved by Admin.
 
Off Topic areas would be great......

So how about.....
1.) Argument of the day.....Pick a topic and automatically be entered into a run chase to hit 100 posts by arguing about nothing
2.) Racism, intolerance and the teachings of Yaxley Lennon.....Well, it will keep WPC happy
3.) Baldies Forum.....For those folically challenged to discuss tips on shining, cutting and caring for a bald chrome dome.
4.) Arguments with 20's......pick any topic and a alarm will go off at 20's house withing 10 seconds for a full on debate.
5.) Bloodtangerines conspiracy theories......or is it really Blood.....🤔....and is he really a giant lizard or a member of the Peroni Illuminati
6.) DUH.....Posts only from the brain dead and the hard of thinking.....or PNEOnline as it's commonly known
7.) Political debate with the CatInStAlbans......Comrade Cat and the teachings of Chairman Cat and a socialist utopia with uncle Jezza
8.) ITK posts......LythamKev discusses post modernism within an egalitarian socialist society, french poetry and speelling of cok knee rymin slang.
