What’s frightening is that we had 16 shots and couldn’t score so when we play championship sides and they limit us to 2/3 shots you have to make them count, we don’t have the players to do that.

I honestly could not see anything to build on in that match. They came to frustrate and were good at it, but we should have been able to break them down

Second half was improved. Gabriel I thought was a positive, some rust but you can immediately see the dynamism he brings to the team. Also thought everything looked ‘forced’ first half like the players weren’t quite all on the same wavelength, so everything was too slow, probably due to being a new group with youngsters all finding their feet. That was better second half and let’s be honest, drop in Bowler and Yates and we probably win that game. Not a good night but not panic stations IMO.
