Comes in and steadies the ship and we finish between 10th and 15th, about where we are as a club IMO. Then the summer comes and several players leave and several others arrive ( hopefully in time for pre season ). We start ok but have only won 3 out of our first 10 games and there doesn’t seem to be a pattern of play emerging (Ala Barrowselona). Will the haters be calling for SS to wield the Axe before the January transfer window or will you be backing yourselves with your positive vibes posts (pre season) and give the guy a chance ? You see it will take the new manager some time to assemble his squad that he feels will be enough to get us out of the division and that is the problem in chopping and changing too soon. The new guy may even fall out with one of your favourite players and ship him out, much to you’re disgust. Patience has always been the key to success in football alone with a huge slice of Lady Luck and big wedge of cash. We have the cash and with a bit of patience the Luck will come too and that way we will be successful.
 
It will totally depend on if the halfwit section of our support agree with the hiring from the outset.
If it's Evatt he will be given the benefit of the doubt for far longer than pretty much any other hiring will get, if its Heckingbottom the guy will be on a hiding to nothing should we not be top 8 from the off.
 
It`s not too difficult.As with most things in life ,make the right decision and we`ll thrive ,make the wrong decision ,as with Grayson, and we might end up down the plughole.
 
Remember David Dunn was a good midfielder, he will be coaching the same way he played the game through midfield without any outside influences. If we get 2 wins next week 'which is very possible' that will be the biggest positive we have had than the previous month. On Saturday the team gave him everything.
 
If what Scrafton said, that the board rejected Evo due to lack of experience. There is no way they could even consider Flowers. Just as short on experience and no connection to the club.👎

Flowers is growing on me.... probably got the rose tinted specs on....probably soil himself if he got it. Just thought I'd plant that seed of doubt...
