Old Bill - Clapham Common

If it was one of my family who had been the victim of a crime such as this, I would certainly not approve of it being used as an excuse to demonstrate or indeed for it to be politicised. I'm sure the family has enough to contend with without all the fuss that is going on about the situation. THINK ABOUT THEM FOR CRYING OUT LOUD.

There were lots of women without masks.
It was wrong as far as I'm concerned. A huge gathering, no social distancing etc.

Now I read that in the open air the germs (or whatever they are) disperse far too quickly to be of great concern.
Tell that to us football fans who've missed loads of matches, unnecessarily it seems.

Thank goodness they gave us the thumbs up to pour over the murder on our precious little site

the lefty activists applied to the court, the court said no to the lefty activists, the lefty activists still turned and broke the law. The police then correctly turned up as they should when someone is breaking the law and gave the lefty activists a friendly slap, lefty activists then start squelling and claiming police brutality !! Ah well
🤣🤣😁😁
The court didn't say no actually. The judge declined to give a view. The police claimed that but it wasnt the case.

For me it's desperately awful what has happened to this poor girl but I reminded my daughters this week that despite the tragedy this animal has bestowed on this poor girl, and despite the ongoing media hysteria:

1) 99.999% of men are decent human beings and have total respect for girls and women.
2) Statistically it's the safest time ever to live. Whilst it's important to stay safe, it's also important to know that nearly all people, of whatever race, creed or chosen gender are balanced and normal. Good news doesn't sell papers nor get social media platforms frothing at the mouth.

Good and sensible post, sums reality up perfectly.

Saw an interesting report on tv last night showing how the whole thing evolved over a few hours. The ginger girl In the photo which was front and centre on most newspapers, was seen shouting at others to refuse to leave after a police officer asked people to leave because it was too packed. She’s then seen holding onto rails on the bandstand. It certainly looks as if that photo was stage managed. There’s no doubt in my mind that this wasn’t a vigil.

Can I add a comment from Mrs Wizzerboy.

No one should feel in danger walking the streets. The vigil, although done with the best intentions, was wrong in the current climate.
Have the women, with the actions they've taken, not thought about the 1000's of women who are not even safe in their own houses and if the government decides to increase the length of lockdown because of these illegal vigils these TRAPPED women will be living their nightmare for a lot longer.

I presume those OB that were policing this ‘Vigil’ were not not undertaking their duties elsewhere, thereby increasing the risk to other members of the public. Oh the irony!
