Graham Rowe on the right. Utility player could play defence midfield and even scored a hat trick playing as centre forward v Bury in a 6-0 win 1968/69.
I remember the Wolves fans trying to reverse this procedure in a chaotic game back in 1976View attachment 9668May well have already been in the thread earlier but if so, worth another airing.

Thinks its just a dodgy Agfa film.Interesting, cos that shirt looks like it has a red trim.
If you have ever seen a Charles Buchan football annual from the 1950’s you will see lots of photos of players that have been colourised by graphic artists. Quite often the colour does not look natural. Even today on a standard definition tv sometimes tangerine shirts can appear reddish in colour.Interesting, cos that shirt looks like it has a red trim.
Yes thanks. I well recall my uncle's football annuals from the fifties - I now rummage through remaindered bookshops for them. I know exactly what you mean and should have thought it through here.If you have ever seen a Charles Buchan football annual from the 1950’s you will see lots of photos of players that have been colourised by graphic artists. 1-1 v Man Utd 1970/71. Micky Burns got the equaliser. I remember George Best going on a mazy dribble past several Pool defenders then hitting the bar. Delighted with a draw that day.

Yep ‘87 is right. Poor from Mrs Coinslot!? Mrs F did something similar with Walshy’s tie ups that I managed to take off him!!The fact that the Anniversary kit and pin badge were for sale dates these pictures to 1987. Mrs C threw my beautiful pin badge out "by mistake" a few years ago. I had to buy another on ebay.
I'll take one of the Centenary Replica Shirts in every size please love, pop them in the post for me will you??The tiny club shop on Bloomfield Road

Think I've got most of the things on sale there, including the book being displayed. Wasn't it written by a teacher at Baines.
