Relate to women’s football. Absolutely ridiculous this amount of publicity for so little demand or interest in the sport. Even league 1 and 2 aren’t easily accessible as they’re now below the WSL so you have to put it in the search box. I get the issue that they’re promoting equality but I don’t know. And don’t get me going on sky sports news, every day there’ll be a headline going across the ticker something like Frankie Lloyd signing for Everton from Chelsea and you think never heard of him he must be playing abroad and then it dawns on you it’s the women’s team 😀 Sky want to test the water and have the WSL as a stand alone subscription channel and see the amount of interest, you’d be looking at Fleetwood Ifollow type numbers

So what you're saying by the last sentence is that they're on a par with some League One clubs. As such, surely equality is fair enough?

It’s growing in popularity, it’s far more family friendly if you want to take younger ones with you, it’s affordable to take a family to a game, the players are far more accessible for autographs etc and I’ve no doubt that when the shackles of lockdown disappear there will be a big hunger for such entertainment. What’s not to like?

The football is substandard.
