One thing that annoys me about the media in relation to Lewis Hamilton

They keep banging on and on and on about him coming from Stevenage, which is, lets be honest, a bit of a shit hole and it makes him sound like becomes from some backstreet. In reality he and his familyly come from Tewin, a beautiful and expensive village several miles from Stevenage, in fact Hertford @ Welwyn Garden City are nearer.

I used to live in Tewin Wood back in the late 70's with my family and it is super posh, so all this bollocks about being from stevenage is exactly that..... utter bollocks!! Anyway, I hope he wins today and Norris foes well.

And how he's constantly banging the drum about F1 drivers needing to show a United front, yet 19 of them wear 'end racism' t-shirts whilst he wears 'Black lives matter'

I'm on the fence at the minute regarding Hamilton, I used to love the guy, I was at Silverstone when he achieved his first pole position and the atmosphere was incredible.

But his militant veganism and climate change/environment crusade whilst he makes tens of millions from one of/if not the worst sport on the planet for emitting pollution, not only from the cars but the large crowds it attracts and the huge logistics involved in putting on races around the world, has become a bit irritating. I won't even get started on some of his sponsors' link's to fascism whilst he bleets on about black lives matter.

l know what you mean, but for all it’s heavy use of fossil fuel I would think that the R and D in and around F1 has probably done more than anything else to lower the consumption of petrol snd diesel and the emissions by the vehicles the rest of the world travels about in.

There's something irritating about someone who states they have principles but make no sacrifice around that.

I'd be ** amazing in marketing but I can't bring myself to do it as I hate the world it creates.

Hamilton has had an environmental epiphany but is a poster boy for cars.

And yet...

At least the lad thinks about stuff. We're all hypocrites in some form or other and criticism of the hypocrisy of others is just a way of masking our own.

At one time I swore I'd never drive or own a house. I do both.

In conclusion. I miss football.
