Only 11 seats left in the north stand for the 1st home game

Block c completely sold out.

There are seats ticking down in other areas but someone like @TTractor would know with that app much better the level its changed since last counts.

What do we think the attendance will be?

I'll go for high 12 to 13k.

Just don't know how many turn up on the day fans we have, I know its usualy quite a high proportion.

Or equally how many Cardiff will bring. If they fill the east it'll be much higher.

Oh and forgot to say, its going to be absolutely bouncing in the north, can't wait.

We're in block E, helping spread that wall of noise round to the corners and beyond, which the first block is filling up nicely. Need both corner blocks full so that sound is carried properly round into the west.

When its noisy around them the west do get involved more so anyone on tickets, the north corner is the place to go if you like to get involved, outside of the north itself obviously. Good views as well.

There was probably only idk, maybe 650-700 in there the other night and that sounded pretty loud, imagine more than 4 times that in the north and corner in a meaningful game too.

Who else is excited for the North atmosphere?

Bought 3 earlier in week and only 3 together in North reasonably high up was block F.

Can't wait.. gonna be rocking. Last time I was in corner was home coming.. Great view and like u said involved in singing too. 👍

Listening to the fans moaning about ticket prices we will be lucky to make 10,000
Yeah but its valid, if we are the hardcore think its a bit high to attract them then casual or floater definately will.

Either way the product being of a high quality can override the price, being 20 for some games still is good, 24 not that bad and 28 is getting high but for the big excing games, like the derby.

I think quite a few are in agreement that they haven't got the pricing quite right for friendlies and more could be done with a membership scheme maybe for marchday sales.

But to me its key to try and attract the fan who will buy tickets.

Either way it's going to be rocking still.

Was trying to see how many Cardiff had sold but saw this.

So maybe they will get the 2500 then if they go they will release more?

That's very similar to the number of season ticket seats available, so your have to assume that there have been a couple of dozen season tickets sold, rather than single match purchases.

There may have been a few more sales but....

Thats not right, when a seat is sold that seat is also gone on the season ticket planner as it cant be sold less 1 game, it should come back on when the game is gone.

But we also have the Coventry game available, so if anyone buys for that game it will also remove it temporarily from the season ticket one.

Makes sense. As if you look at the cov game planner there's much more seats again, whereas if they were season tickets sales they'd be gone for all games.

So what we looking at? A first home game attendance of around 12,000? The Homecoming aside that will feel like a Prem match (and ironic who we beat to get to the Prem!).

Just depends how many Cardiff bring and how floating fans take to the 28 quid price for this one. Or 30 if they choose to come down on the day not knowing.

Theres still ages until the game, the majority of sales id imagine will be when its much closer.

If we win at Bristol then its a huge buzz factor going into that game so that would help as well.

But either way we should have at least 12k there probably higher. 13k wouldn't be unreasonable.

There's no way Cardiff will sell half, never mind all the East. They've never travelled in numbers to Bloomfield Rd.

This is correct, though they might just bring more than they've ever brought before, what with staycation and Blackpool.
Well, they've got to start using up their annual leave sooner or later. And they won't be using it overseas.
Blackpool's been very busy. Like the good old days.

Still won't fill half the East though.

I thought they were a big club, first away game, they haven't been to a competitive match like a lot of us, chance to come and stay in summer and enjoy the attractions. History of the tie, could say revenge. They are a capital city... should be taking big numbers but if not then disappointing.

I think we have sold 870 for Bristol if the ticket numbers are right on ticket master (as it says 871) and still plenty of time to buy, I thought we'd get to nearly 1.2 -1.5k but maybe not, thought Cardiff would be able to at least double it.

Maybe I was overestimating.

I did a count yesterday morning and there were 1932 tickets left for the Cardiff game in the home sections.

1 would expect Cardiff to bring somewhere between 1,000 and 1,5000 being august and kids being off a few will make a weekend of it.

So that begs the question do we open up the East Stand North section to home fans or do we leave it empty?

North Stand C is completely sold out at the moment for season tickets!

North is going to be absolutely insane this season!
As said above though dont forget as soon as match tickets are sold for a game, the same season ticket seat is also greyed out as it cant obviously be bought as a ST, probably until the games gone.

Thats why it basically matches the season ticket planner with the Cardiff planner, but not the Coventry game, as the majority of the difference must be match sales and not ST's.

I’d hope it’ll be well over 13,000, let’s face it, we’re in the championship, no one has been in the ground for over a year, and optimism is high.

I’m in M and got told to be quiet by quite a few last time I was there, although they were all clearly enjoying listening to the volume from the north.

Can’t wait, it’s going to be epic, I could be ejected.

They can’t open the East Stand North to home fans as there are no facilities unless things have changed.
It was open for the play off game as I was sat there, wouldn't take much to put portaloos and a food kiosk in the corner. Surely the facilities in the SE concourse can't cater for 4800 fans? It's tiny under there with a small kiosk and limited toilet space.

Why not? We only have 1800 tickets left for the home areas to be sold out. Those matchday prices might put people off I suppose.
It's one of them.. get something at Bristol and it won't.. defeat and it will. Good job I've got us as a 1-2 win on super6👍

Me too Koudo for the play off, but with fan segregation in the east they would have to put toilets and a kiosk in the NE end but l read or heard that the club were not planning for this due to a lack of space in that part of the ground.

Yeah, but a much reduced capacity, and able to get along to the SE corner. No away fans so no segregation issues.

The Bristol result won’t have any influence whatsoever.
This will be the first home game in a long while for a lot of supporters.
They will go in their droves 👍

Went to ticket office 10.15 today to get 2 tickets in the South for Cardiff game only looked like couple of hundred seats left in the south looks like will be a great turn out

How was it run in the Prem season when both sides of the East were open ? Away fans in one half, home fans in the other half. Didn't seem to be a prob with facilities then.

Like anything associated with that family, the facilities were a shambles...I was in the East (north section) and the facilities were bloody awful.

As time goes by, things should improve...as they are doing now..I've been going to Bloomfield Rd since 1976 so hardly a modern day fan.
I was walking about in piss and shoite in that terrapin toilet.....the facilities were from the 70s and as most things associated to that family, were a disgrace.

A full North Stand will be awesome, as we're travelling from Warrington & taking our 4 year old grandson to his first game - he has wore tangerine since his baby bibs!
We've got tickets in the south so that he can see and hear the best supporters in football in full voice amid a sea of tangerine.
Classing it as a A game, has cost us £8.50 for him and just we're hoping he doesn't ask to go home before half time!
We were intending to take him to the Pleasure Beach in the morning, but that would cost us almost another £100 just for him to visit the kiddies area.
We've not told him yet, as he'll be asking his mum several times everyday - "am I going to see the Seasiders tomorrow with grandma and grandad?".

Brilliant that Brett the little fella will never forget the day when he hears the North (and the rest of the ground) in full voice and he will be Pool forever 👏👏

Imagine being a kid these days and coming to the club compared to what it was when I was a kid at that age, an absolute rust bucket of a place really, a certain nostalgia but still, its night and day now and a place kids want to be. The way the club is run and the direction its heading. Even compared to when we had the 2 stands, tin pot feel.

So much better now so you feel like your at somewhere more special.

Updated availability - so this change will include season ticket sales and Cardiff matchday sales. With single match tickets available, it is no longer possible to do season ticket counts. We're now restricted to individual match availability, so we'll have to take a base at approx 2200 available if we want to count matchday sales.
