OT - Eng vs Aus - 1st T20

Bairstow doesn't look in good touch, unless he's with Roy he does seem to struggle. Still 43-1 from 4 is a great start.
 
74-3 9.5ovs - Buttler the only one who looks in good touch so far. We need to keep it ticking over before launching them for the last 6.
 
Another failure from Moeen, he rarely produces in a big game for England. He'd better do well with the ball.
 
T20 games can go this way if you go too hard or give too many wickets away, I think England have been guilty of over confidence and are now likely to only post 160. That probably won't be enough against the best batting line-up in the world.
 
Great knock from Malan just a shame he couldn't see it to the end. Desperately need another 15 or so.

Edit to add the Aussie fielding has been exceptional.
 
The cheating cry baby has taken a couple of good catches 😞
Will be different when we have our full team out. It’s nice to give the stiffs a match against lower opposition like the Aussies.
 
Let`s be fair, barring Stokes this is virtually our full team and unlike us this is the Aussies first game for 6 months.
 
I would add Roy and Stokes to this team, the decision would be Banton or Malan missing out with Buttler dropping to 3.

The Aussies are breezing this, we desperately need a couple of wickets.
 
There’s clearly a spot for Root. It’s just not clever to have the same players one after the other. Especially when the next WC is in India.
 
Credit where it is due, England don't give up. This is still a big ask but at least they are in the game.
 
Never in doubt, a great last 6 overs. Morgan is a brilliant skipper that is for sure and we never give in. Australia will feel mugged.
 
Fair play to Tom Curran on that last over. Great last ball to seal it under pressure. If Cummings is coming in at 8 then Australia have quite a long tail.

If you look at the time I posted we were getting well and truly stuffed like others have said (have you had a pop at them?)
It’s easy coming on when it’s all over telling people your wrong your very good at that I’ve noticed.
Why don’t you predict the next match instead of waiting till it’s finished before you comment? No balls I’d say but yet quick off the mark to criticise others. 🤡
