OYSTON loses yet another court battle

Thanks Mex, I was wondering what the script was given that the receivers didn't win every point but given that he didn't order a deduction I was thinking/hoping that he'd be liable for the costs of all parties.

You will have forgotten more than I will ever know re this so I will just hope that he has to pay the majority of the costs if not everything.

Perhaps we should set up a "Go Fund Me" on here for him ?
Not sure about Go Fund Me, more of Go Fuck Yourself, Owen.

"He asked the receivers to put together a draft account, including sums still outstanding, for Oyston and Denaxe to agree.
If they cannot, they should come back to court within three weeks".

Was this statement by His Holiness Marcus Smith from 2019, or am I to understand this was an instruction to both parties at the recent outing? The use of the the phrase "if they cannot" suggest this has just happened but it's not entirely clear from the way the article is written.

If so, there is no chance on this Earth that Catweazle will agree terms with the receivers.

Either way it's incredible that he can still get away with dodging his obligations.
If they do end up back in court in three weeks I wonder if you can watch on Zoom. Or iFollow? I'd pay a tenner for that! 🏝️ 👍

I'm no legal eagle but you can tell that Oyston has really managed to annoy Marcus Smith into becoming a right honourable seasider.
The thing is he’s that deranged that he thinks one day His Hounour Judge Smith is going to give him the benefit of the doubt in an application. The odds of me getting Kelly Brook over to my place to privately model her lingerie collection must be higher.

You can guarantee O will always throw good money after bad on lost court cases. Too dim to learn and too dim to employ decent lawyers

And those lawyers are taking him to the cleaners. He must surely be acting against their advices.

Judge Marcus Smith, now there's a name that should go down forever in BFC folklore. Probably the most important and thankfully the best official that we will ever experience as Blackpool fans. He was clear and concise in his communications and was quick to get his cards out when warranted to deal with any foul play by the dirty opposition. He could spot play acting a mile out and there was no chance of any (mammoth) wool bieng pulled over his eyes. I had the privilege of watching him in action at the Rolls Building in London on three seperate occasions and he never disappointed. I also think that when he retires those matches involving us were the most exciting and memorable for him in his whole career. The other great thing about those games was the post match beers with various individuals of the 53 tribe at The White Swan. I think there are a few posters on AVFTT who were also lucky enough to also be there?

The kind of official that went quietly about his business. No Clive Thomas nor Mike Riley, but you knew he was in charge, Catweazle and son certainly did by the end 👍

Anyone that attended any of the court days will look back on those days and treasure them. Unforgettable moments in our history.

The man is completely deluded.

He'll probably sue himself next.

The fans who he did sue must be loving this.

Keep it going Owen.

Unfortunately, he must still have a lot of money to be able to keep bringing these claims to court. How I wish he was destitute.

And his written judgement is quite clinical in its execution, with a perfect description of the Os. If O had really read and understood that he woudn't still be digging from the bottom of a big hole

It’s like having a spoiler in midfield during a playoff final for the Prem....ruining the game with dirty tackles, off the ball shoves, being given warnings by the ref time and again then getting sent off with the free kick leading to a goal and the loss of 100million in revenue. Then trying to sue the ref for how much their decisions cost the club!

If he’d behaved during the receivership and co-operated then the costs would have been a lot lower. Let’s hope he has to sell a villa or two to fund this latest load of Oyston court codswallop.

Bet his siblings and grandchildren are praying he croaks soon as their inheritance is disappearing at a phenomenal rate. Anyone for jelly and ice cream? 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Not to put anyone specifically on the spot but since the fallout of OO's Rome crumbling/revelations of how they acted being recognised in court, have any further people who were sued got their money back, judgements overturned etc.? How would that work?

I guess these court cases should be encouraged because, if you are a serial loser, higher court costs = lower inheritance and therefore no spare cash for Slazenger sports gear 🙂

Rapey: “You sat on my sunglasses! I’m going to sue me.”

Catweazel: “Su Mei? Didn’t you see her in Bangkok? Just wear them. No-ones going to notice under that fcuking hat.”

Rapey: “I can see they are wonky. They make my face look like a Picasso.”

Catweazel: “They make you look edgy. Like you’ve been in a fight. Again. Because you’re so popular.”

Rapey: “You’ll be in a fight you old perv. I’ll see you in court!”

Catweazel: “You always lose. That Marcus Smith has your number. How about we call it a draw?”
