Many are kicking up as they were promised full residency when they purchased a chalet.
Turned out not true.

I was always of the opinion that any Caravan/ Chalet were only residential for around 10 months of year.
Normally closed from early January to early March.

Correct.
I have to vacate mine for 8 weeks of the year otherwise it would become my residency.
The site closes for this period for everyone on site.

There’s a few permanent residential sites across Blackpool & I’m sure they are open all year. No doubt you would have to pay council tax but I’d guess far less than a 4 bedroom semi. People retire & move into them & probably free up some capital.

Agree but if they are open all year they become residency properties and you should by law be paying council tax.

Mines a holiday home which closes annually for 8 weeks hence I don’t pay council tax.
