Park & Ride Blackpool Airport

Are they for when the Illuminations get switched on and they run shuttle buses to tram/town?

Think they have done it for a few years now.
 
Great idea but 15 quid is ridiculous. Although obviously less there, Preston’s park and ride from Walton le dale is 3.20 for two adults and three children return to town.
 
If they ever extend the tram network to st Anne's a park and ride stop at the airport is a no brainer, could be successful in taking traffic out of town and maybe even stop hotels trying to cram cars on to their forecourt

If it saves them turning more precious Blackpool land into more bloody carparks surely.....

As for carparks if more were deemed needed heres my suggestion. Build upwards on an existing site. A big multi level car park take up far less room than if it was on 1 level, but we have enough already really. Or for eg imagine the one near Yeadon way, its huge imagine that with another level on top, huge increase.

With such limited space you have think think outside the norm and not waste it.

Should probably be cheaper but its about demand too, with so many wanting to come to Blackpool.

Houndshill is more expensive than st georges centre for eg. When you have mega numbers coming thats the way it is.

Not good for the residents though, who fall foul of the higher prices too.
