Just watched Paul Warne's interview on YouTube, he said, they had a spell in second half where they kept the ball for 5/6mins and we couldn't get near it... They were much fitter and quicker... 😀

Yea I watched it…they did seem to have a few chunky monkeys last night…we were fitter and sharper.
 
It’s interesting because Warne was always known for having his Rotherham players super-fit and well-organised. Maybe Derby’s aging stars aren’t so receptive.
 
Agree, Rotherham under him were a fit side, I certainly don't get why Derby are favoured to win the league, not saying they won't finish top six, but champions?

I reckon they will come good and finish strongly. Hopefully we will have enough of a head start on them to waltz off with the title.

If I was Critch, I'd play that interview to the squad and say, 'there you go boys, that is the bar that we have to sustain for the rest of the season: are you up to it?'

It's great to see some of our fringe players performing well. It may not have been the most important game but it all helps build confidence and momentum, somethings we had none of last season.
 
Not sure what the Derby board would have made of Warne's interview. He completely trashed the team he's been coaching and recruiting for the last 11 months. Quite a good listen.
